Main issue was that there was no light in the interior unit so it was very dark in there. Otherwise, everything was fine.

No elevator and the small storage areas had narrow doorways

JOSEPH N | First ImpressionsI had a very disappointing experience with this U-Haul storage facility from start to finish. First, when my brother needed to pick up his belongings from my storage unit while I was at work, I called the facility the day before to make sure everything would be okay. I was told it wouldn’t be a problem. When he arrived, however, they refused to let him access the unit because I wasn’t there. I was forced to leave work and drive to the facility just to let him in. I was told I needed to add him as an authorized user online, but the website was so confusing that I couldn’t even figure out how to do it after spending about 20 minutes searching for the option. Then, after I moved out of the unit and confirmed with the employee at the counter that everything had been taken care of, I received a late notice and what appeared to be another month’s rent and a late fee. I had to spend additional time on the phone with customer service to determine whether it was simply a billing timing issue. No customer should have to wonder whether they’re going to be charged after they’ve already vacated their unit. On top of that, the customer service at the facility itself left a lot to be desired. The employee I dealt with came across as dismissive and uninterested in helping customers, which only added to the frustration. Between the confusing website, inconsistent information from staff, poor communication, and unnecessary billing confusion, this was a frustrating experience. I won’t be using this location again and hope U-Haul improves both its customer service and its administrative processes.
