Not only did I receive a vehicle that needed to be serviced, I have been incorrectly charged by a couple hundred dollars. I was given a contract that stated my price, online AND in person (hard copy). I submitted this budget for my job only to find out that the final bill was about $300 more. I was not only on the phone with corporate multiple times, I was given different information on each occasion. The return took over 2 hours because of billing issues that still need to be sorted out. When I asked for the number for accounting or billing issues, they said they did not know and gave me 1-800-gouhaul. Incredible. The owners at the Johnson location were nice and helpful but not actually able to help. They were just as confused and frustrated as I was.

Walk through any damage currently on the vehicle with customer instead of just having us sign the paper. The bumper was beat in, the mirror was cracked, and the back light fixture was damaged prior to me using the vehicle. It would be nice to have a walk through to make sure we both know what is currently damaged so I don't get charged with extra for something that wasn't my fault.

The van should be clean and wiped down inside. There is a car wash at 1613 NW Kearney five blocks from this location, $3 wash couldn't hurt. Please allow to pay in cash even with credit card deposit. Nine foot van got 6.3 mpg seemed low since I wasn't moving much weight and used the freeway. Very friendly and helpful staff.

First of all, I originally had a reservation at this location, but was called the day before by a uhaul representative and told to go to a location close by instead, which was further from my home. First of all the, the vehicle number supplied during self check-in was off by a digit. (Either that, or the vehicle assigned to me was not present at the location.) It was probably entered wrong. Second, my drivers license was rejected during self check-in because I have a change-of-address sticker. I was made to retake my photo and driver's license photo 3 times, I even removed my change-of-address sticker. Representative Shawntai, the rep I was chatting with throughout the photo and driverse license approval process, had me hold over and over again. Finally, they told me I could not complete the self check in process, and that I would need to call uhaul. They gave me no other information, just "call uhaul". I called uhaul. I chose option 3 for customer service. The person I talked to did not know anything about self check-in. They forwarded me to "someone who could help me", but I was simply sent back to the main menu. All of this took 50 minutes of standing in the cold while my moving plans were derailed. Someone from uhaul then called me and helped me change my reservation BACK to the original location I had chosen so I walked back there and finally picked up my van well over an hour later than I wanted to. I have screen shots and emails to support this whole frustrating story. Please get in touch with me.

The location is fine, people there are friendly and helpful. The van was clean, but the oil needed to be changed and the van displayed a warning about it continuously. They said they reported it to u-haul and were still waiting for someone to show up to maintain the van.

The service workers were both kind and friendly, as well as supportive. They were professional and provided useful information. It would be helpful to have someone come out to the vehicle, to show a few of the ropes of the vehicle; it took a little time to figure out the gear mode shift by the steering wheel, and some controls, such as adjusting the mirrors, were also hard to find. Overall, the experience was quite satisfactory!
