They store all of their units behind the store, so if you are using them for the 1st time, you don't know if they have any available units. Maybe parking a couple in the lot during the day? Other than that, it was a good experience this time around (they have improved since they started carrying rentals).

This is not a self serve location. The app/site couldn’t determine my location despite all of my other apps experiencing no issues. The uhaul rep on the phone made multiple errors: you rented a van not a pick up, it hasn’t returned yet, etc. NO where did my rental info state I had to go into the store on site to get the keys. It took 30 minutes just to figure all of this out while standing next to the rented pick up in an empty lot. Oh, and you can’t get keys unless the store is open. A-Boy folks are great despite the uhaul craziness

The best thing was that there was a same-day rental available when my moving company ran into a snafu and couldn't do the job. Plus, I had helpful suggestion of what would work for my needs! He was cool on the phone. He did the paperwork fine, explained about how to return it, and checked the gas and odometer gauge. For improvements, I would suggest meeting the customer at the rental desk within 5 minutes of customer arriving with a smile and warm welcome.

The Uhaul desk is back of the store but people shopping there seems to use it as a customer service desk. When I arrived, there was a lady who just got there slightly before me. She got lost and was asking a direction to her destination. The guy at the desk had good customer service but got priorities wrong. He was looking up in computer where she wants to go, and she demanded an alternative route without getting on highway. So he was looking up that and tried to print her a direction. Then she said she just needs to write it down, so he was showing the screen till she finished. All the time I was waiting when I have reservation of picking up the truck at 10am as the store opens, and went in 10:05. Finally, my turn and though I answered all questions about additional items, he went over again as if it's by the books, taking more unnecessary time. Then, we went to the parking lot finding no truck. So he went back to bring in front. Another wasted time. I think all the point of having reservation is that the process goes smooth meaning that I'm expected at my pick up time, and the truck is ready to drive off. Neither happened and also he should have let the lady wait and served me first. I was as there to actually do the business at the Uhaul desk, and at the time indicated in reservation because I need the truck from that time.

The front, right tire was low on air, and the dashboard message stated this. I would have appreciated this being taken care of before we picked up the truck. Other than that, my experience was excellent.

I made an online reservation but then when I got to the location, a new order had to be entered - this shouldn't be necessary.

Very slow and unstable internet connection between A-Boy (vendor) and U Haul. Took about 20 minutes to rent a truck and process my cc information.

There is/was a pending U-Haul software update that required my original online reservation to be voided and then re-created. Not a huge deal, but it did take a little longer to get me going out the door. I would definitely use A-Boy for pick up and drop off again.

I've found that the process took more time than necessary. Manager was also mean to employees when they only wanted to be sure they weren't giving me wrong information. Lastly, I was overcharged and they sent me to a busy number that was of no help to me.

Your app did not work at all, so I could not access the truck I had rented several days in advance for a morning pickup. After fussing with it, I called your 1-800 # for help... Just kept waiting and waiting...finally gave up on getting assistance via phone. That meant I needed to go inside the location and wait some more in a line...That location is too busy running a plumbing- hardware store to deal with UHaul rentals. Was 45 minutes late getting to client with moving truck. Am a regular uhaul truck renter.. Will try to stick with the NE Sandy Blvd location if needing to rent again.

This location DOES NOT allow for after hours pickup/dropoff like the website claims. I had to wait over an hour for the business to open to get my rental vehicle. Please update the ordering process to correct the error about this location.
