The truck we got already had broken straps in the back which we didn’t use. There was no mud on the wheels compared to the one we did use. The lady that we checked out with was extremely rude and had a bad attitude. She kept saying we were wrong when we kept telling her we didn’t even use it nor did we know that we were allowed to touch it( since we didn’t pay or ask for it )The lady in the morning, lyrssa was very nice and helped with everything. Maybe some of your workers can do a refresher class on customer service.

This location was fantastic. What I would like to comment on is the area director and his complete lack of understanding of customer relations. My company took a loss of over $1000 because another Uhaul location did not take the proper precautions to plow and salt there storage area causing the 2 trucks I had ordered to be delayed what I was told to be up to 4 hours. Then the area director had the audacity to leave me a voicemail stating it was my fault as I should have used "common sense" due to the weather forecast. common sense would lead me to believe that any business owner would take the proper precautions to ensure that his or her clientele be kept happy by doing what was necessary to fill the reservation. I was insulted by this man and extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service and "common sense" shown by leaving that voicemail. this is a full U-Haul location and the man checking in was very courteous and helpful. I was not charged for the shorted pad, but I felt I had to fill the gas tank full even though it was only 3/4 full upon pickup. The truck performed fine; although, the cab is very uncomfortable for a long trip.

We rented a pickup truck when we were told that my husband (a contractor) wouldn't have his truck for 2 days bc of repair. When we picked it up we asked if we could extend and were told yes. - long story/short - we didn't get it back for 6 days - each day I called was a new adventure with whether to extend and how much. they overdrafted my credit card with all the overcharges they put on it and noone knew how to fix the problem - in the end I am due a credit I am still waiting to clear my card

The staff told me a ridiculous story about people renting uhauls and blowing themselves up, thus they demanded I give them phone numbers of people so they could call them to verify (what I don’t know). After calling a few Ptah didn’t answer I was left with my 11 year old son, who hung up on them. When I complained that this was bothersome to people and an invasion of my privacy, the clerk said, “then don’t rent from us.” While we went through this nonsense, another customer who wanted to pay in cash was told he couldn’t because “people are stealing things out of the uhauls.” Interesting strategy to treat the customers like terrorists and thieves. Not sure what a phone call was going to do to prevent me from committing suicide in the truck. Anyway, I’ll do my best to never need a uhaul again.

We had a terrific experience with the employees. The counter women, I did not get her name managed to put us in a slightly larger trailer that allowed us to make only 1 trip. Stephanie was able to solve a mechanical problem that almost cancelled the whole job. This was outstanding customer service. Best we have had in a long time. Thank you.

I picked up truck in Wapps and returned it to Pok location. I was told I could drop off at any location and to just drop keys in dorp box. Next day my account was charged $549. I did add'l mileage so I can see the add'l charge. They said I broke a bar, we did not. Charged me for dropping it at different location after I was told I could. Not happy and need my money back. Thank you

I dealt with employee Laryssa Vitti in the Poughkeepsie location who was brusque and loud and was machine-like in her review of the contract terms. As a result, she neglected to inform me of the insurance requirements and was unapologetic when I had to call back about them.
