I did everything online, besides driving the truck. You call it truck sharing, I call it a great convenience. Equipment was great and the young guys there to receive the vehicle were friendly. Excellent customer service. There was even a chat person online when I was checking in after hours, just in case of a problem getting my truck.

Change hours on the door and properly train employees on the time your actual business is so you don't have customers showing up at 7am or making reservations for 7:30 because neither the reservation site or the clueless employees know what time there place of employment actually operates. I understand Sunday you have different hours but it's not properly notes on the business and when you confirm with an actual breathing employee that works at the site and get told the same hours on the door and make your plans around those hours. Also the general managers phone number is on the business itself so I called him 7 times before he picked up and was extremely rude regarding my situation and basically told me tuff shit regarding my dilemma. Great way to run a business

The pick up process was annoying. Being I pull a trailer everyday at work I know how to hook up a trailer, so yes I told your employees I could handle it. Well this trailer couldn't be farther away from the office and worse oddly parked over the tongue of another trailer which of course made it very difficult to get unhooked from each other. I literary had to pick up my trailer to release it from the other one. That was not fun nor needed.with plenty of space why would anyone stack trailers like that. Anyway everything else went well. Again I suggest making a 2 bike trailer. It would be a big renter.

Horrible experience from attempting to reserve the vehicle, interactions with staff when they called to tell me my reservation and confirmation was in essence worthless, and given equipment that was not safe. When a brake alarm light would not stop, I was told to “turn up the radio” by the manager. I will no longer use this company for my rental needs, and will look to discourage others

well i have to say I think this is just an aberration as I cant remember not being well taken care of by which ever uhaul location I have worked with for over 35 years. good service good brand. So take this is a one off but most importantly no one at the location was wearing masks, I saw 4 employees. I asked the gentleman checking me in to wear one, they said they were maintaining 6 ft. They were not maintaining 6 ft and that shouldn't excuse not wearing mask. In addition, the truck that I was issued was really in bad shape. I reported that the steering clicked, I had to keep the wheel at 11 o'clock to stay straight, was leaking gas and the oil light was on a good amount of time. Didn't seem to matter to the check in person. Really was a truck that should not have been sent out.

I had appointment to schedule to pick up the uhaul at 9 am in highland New York. No one was there Sun.And I waited then went to Poughkeepsie and pick one up. The van was fine we like it but I think when u guys make a mistake u should get a discount. And also the guy in Poughkeepsie try to charge me 168 dollars and was rude and told me it was on E . When I filled it up I had to go back there and have him start it to show him.

Self check-in is a little complicated with a lot of questions. Ended up just going inside to complete it. Also, the mileage was wrong when I returned the truck and I had to get the manager to refigure the cost. Staff was really great. Please change the name on this transaction to David Byars (I am not Joseph Maldanado)

I do not recall being told that the online pickup experience would take 30 minutes. I would have planned my help differently. The pictures on the online pick up are nearly useless. I still had to go into get my key from someone, not exactly no contact. No one was there so I had to wait 3-5 minutes. When I asked if my already paid for lads and hand cart were in the truck, it took took long. They asked me to check and then when I told them what I recalled, they told me to take whatever I needed. I saw the cart in the truck, so I took the bags of blankets they told me to use. I got charged for both the hand truck I reserved and a furniture one and I am not sure why. Drop off looked like it was going to be bad, but someone told me to leave the truck and keys and they would get to it. I did the online part and it seems to be ok, except for the extra $7 I was charged for a mysterious cart I never took.

I rented a pick up truck to pick up a ping pong table from Dick's Sporting Goods about 5 miles away from the Uhaul location. I have the receipt from Dick's that verifies the date. My wife and I then drove to our home in Hyde Park, NY about 12 miles or so. I unloaded the ping pong table piece by piece because the box was 200 pounds. Then I drove the truck back. My estimate was 30 miles total for the trip. When I check in to rent the truck I told the man what I was doing. He was not the man when I brought it back. If I could talk to the man that checked me, he would verify it. . When I got there the representative was too busy to check me in so he said he would send me an invoice. Something I will never allow again. When I got the invoice it said I drove 102.8 miles and my charges were twice what was estimated. I have called and spoken to a representative who was not on site and said they would have someone contact me. I have sent an email that comes with the invoice to the address they asked to be sent to and not have heard anything. I should have checked what the milage was, big mistake on my part, and I will never do the "I will send the invoice to you by email", because if I had been checked out then I would have rejected the milage and showed them what I did. I don't think I could have driven that far in the time I had the truck, even if I had not picked up the ping pong table. Sincerely, Van Driessen

Needed a 6x12 utility trailer to haul my 5.5 foot wide UTV. The trailer I was givin was 6x12 however, the ramp and entrance into the trailer was only 4 feet wide due to the way the trailer was made. The trailer was of no use to which I did not find out till late and had no way of getting a replacement early in the morning and had to cancel plans at last minute. Not satisfied at all with U-Haul and wasted $113 on a trailer I couldn't even use.

Truck was danaged, it made a horrubkebnouse, lost power, belts for car tires on flat truck was not properly conditioned. Not a good experience at all. As a matter of fact I've asked your for some adjustments.
