Really nice staff. They were clear with their expectations and all the applicable charges + were flexible with the return time/day. Would definitely rent from them again. A+
KELECHI II arrived to pick up my rental and found another customer there who had also reserved a van—yet there was only one available. The manager seemed flustered, ran outside, and started yelling at an employee. In the end, I was given the van, while the other customer was left waiting, hopefully to receive another vehicle later. The situation became more concerning when it turned out the other customer had attempted a mobile pickup, and the front desk staff was mistakenly trying to assign me that same van. To add to the unease, the manager photocopied my credit card and wrote down the details so he could charge me later. This felt very unsafe and unprofessional, and I immediately canceled my card afterward to protect myself. When I drove away, I had no confirmation email of my rental, no documentation of the vehicle’s condition, and no reassurance that everything was properly processed. Overall, I did not feel secure or confident in the experience. This was only my second time renting from U-Haul, and it will likely be my last.
