Initially they wanted to give me one of those 25-year-old 4x8 trailers. I had these before and they are complete junk. UHAUL PLEASE REPLACE THESE OLD JUNKY TRAILERS. They are UNACCEPTABLE. Then I found a brand new 4x8 on the lot. The attendant wasn't too excited to give it to me, but then after I complained he did. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars and the check out process was super slow too.

The overall rental experience was very poor due to the reservation system and how this was handled by your people (not at the New Bern location, but at the Capital Ave location and the regional person).

The gas needle wasn't working due to my unemployment statutes N disability I have very limited income because I'm not receiving any type of help yet but I was doing volunteer work anyway but because of the gas gauge I put in 1/2 tank instead 1/4 you take money but there needs to be a way to reimburse a person if I didn't put gas you have plenty of fees but your gauge messed up and I suffer the consequences that's not right Also your employees were overwhelmed today 2 people with @ least 8 or more returns customers inside a line for propane and other loosing the money belt give them some help at least at peak hrs 11-2 or 12-4 they were doing their best but their only human and it only takes one person with a bad attitude to make them look bad when they were doing what they were supposed to do I even told a person to relax and be blessed its a beautiful day your alive be patient wait your turn so Judd is to Joel ani think tyarell not sure how he spelled his name I hope none of the inpatient people inside said anything negative to these young men and to the corporation they handle themselves with great respect for how busy it was at least 4 man maybe more job being done by 2 that was overwhelming and they took it in stride without complaint if someone said different their lying and wanted the world to stop just for them

Terrible experience. i reserved at one location and was given a much less convenient location. Joel was very happy to make things right, but still charged for milage due to the inconvenient location. Capital blvd had such a long line with only 1 person assisting. Not only did I not get the right location, the store did not have the 17' truck. Instead I was given a 26' truck with 150 000 miles with poor breaks and steering. Plus it was very difficult to drive and much than I need. Also, the gas consumed was greater due to the inconvenient location. Again, such a bad experience, I will use an app moving service next time.

“Extension manager” that I spoke to so that I could extend my rental was exceedingly rude and condescending. Her response to the end of our phone conversation when I said “thanks” was “mmhmm”. Sorry, but that’s a bitch ass thing to say. It was made into a huge deal to extend our rental and we were threatened several times with high fees but magically it all worked out in the end? Shitty sales tactics by staff. Worst Uhaul experience I’ve ever had and will be spreading the news via social media how shitty your staff is and how they treat PAYING customers.

This location went above an beyond for me. I had a not so pleasant experience on Spring Forest Rd where my truck was not available because someone did t bring it back and they did not inform me causing me to be delayed in my move and travel but I’m glad I could use New Bern Ave location I should have went there first!

I rented a uhaul and had to return it due to my moving company cancelling at the last minute. Joel and Kenneth did a excellent job accommodating me and seem to be extremely knowledgeable about uhaul.

Put my reservation under the wrong name and adamantly blamed me saying I didn't have a reservation. Once it was found under another name none of the other info was correct either. Multiple misspellings or omissions. To top off the customer experience none of the touch pads at this location work so half of my time there was spent watching the employee fight with the computer.
