I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this U-Haul location. Additional charges were added to my rental despite my explicitly declining those add-ons at the time of booking. To make matters worse, after I requested that the unauthorized add-ons be removed, I was charged an additional $25 cleaning fee that was not reflected on my original invoice. What should have been a simple and straightforward rental turned into a frustrating experience involving unnecessary charges, questionable billing practices, and unprofessional customer service. Given the inconvenience and the way this situation was handled, I requested a 50% refund of the rental fee, which I believe is more than reasonable under the circumstances. As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of transparency, professionalism, and customer service. Unfortunately, this location fell short in all three areas. I would not recommend this U-Haul location to anyone. Customers deserve honest pricing, clear communication, and respectful treatment not unexpected fees and unnecessary disputes over charges they never agreed to.

David BAbsolutely terrible experience overall. The manager gave me a truck with absolute zero gas and when I went to fill it there was a leak in the tank and we needed a new truck. Except the place did not have the truck we needed, the repair people took 2 hours to arrive, and when we came to the other U-Haul location, they were on break and no one knew and had to wait ANOTHER hour. Cherry on top was the fact the people from the first location told us we could transfer the paperwork over and not need to pay again. Obviously you reading this knows that’s not how it works. So thanks for making my out of state trip so much more horrible than it had to be and watching me have an absolute breakdown store manager at Barton. I also never got my money back for the wasted gas the first go around. ALSO the app is the worst thing ever made, it usually never worked and any time I called either store no one picked up.
