Noone at location. Uhaul gave me an address for 3396 river st for location
Brian bThe whole process by U-Haul was not too good. I was quoted a certain price over the phone and in an email, but when we got there to pickup the truck they told me a different price. It took a little while, but the manager which was talking to the associate over the phone gave me the same price, but I was there for roughly and hour and a half to 2 hours, much longer than I needed or wanted to be.
jim cThe "NO" answers above apply to the original drop-off location. The original drop off location (on River Road) was a DISASTER. There were NO signs that it was a UHAUL site, it was located on very hilly terrain, and a large assortment of vehicles were parked every which way - none were UHAUL trucks or trailers. The only person on the site was welding a truck part, and he had no interest in helping me. The welder told me to unhitch the trailer and put it anywhere as long as I didn't block the drive. I was not about to follow his instructions as I would have risked having the trailer roll down the hill! I left with the trailer still attached and went to the next nearest UHAUL location on Columbia St in Rensselaer, not knowing at the time that this second location was affiliated with the first. No one was in the office, and I had to call a number to have someone come to unhitch the trailer and have him look at the damaged interior side bumper. He looked it over, assuring me that the side bumper issue was not a big deal and could be repaired with a bit of adhesive/glue. I wonder whether the next renter of this trailer might have some goods damaged because the side bumper fails them. I won't fault this helper too much because he was friendly and forgiving. In summary, no one should be instructed to return a UHAUL rental to the River Rd. location - EVER!!!!
Bernard NUpstate was closed yet we were able to drop truck off anyway.
