They charged $7.50 extra, perhaps for fuel which is not legitimate. I returned the truck exactly the way it was given to me with exact fuel level. I explained this to the caretaker by sending an email but I did not get any response so far even after three days.

More than $ 81 was taken from my account. Completed, the agreement was made for it. I did not use the truck for less than two hours. I don't know why this amount was withdrawn. They told me that the rest of the money will be returned and they did not.

Here again, I do have an issue with this location. The needless $20 feel I got slammed with because the Grease Monkey person failed to explain after hours drop offs was compounded by me getting hit with another $40 charge, which on one in UHaul can seem to explain what it is. I asked the store tech at Reston Mobile what it was and he pointed me to UHaul. I called UHaul and the person I spoke to there did not know. I filed a customer request for review of what the $40 dollars charge is for and no one seems to know. It can't be a fuel charge because I returned the truck with half a tank and checked it out with 1/3 a tank. The think is I love using UHaul. In fact, over the years I have always had a good experience with your company, but this $60 in charges, of which $40 on one can seem to explain, is causing me to feel I have been taken advantage of. First by picking up from a site where it was clear they were too busy to be taking proper care of a UHaul customer and here locally, by a site which I think they stuck me with a $40 charge they they nor corporate UHaul seems to be able to explain. I will note I have a pending request for review of the entire $60 in charges. Waiting to see how that turns out and hopefully UHaul reverses these added charges.

The Mobil station is rundown, and the truck I rented was particularly gloomy. The ignition was tough to start; there were two MAJOR cracks in the windshield;, and the exterior of the truck was pretty beaten up.

was dropping off the truck at 445 the lady would not help me turn it in i explained to her the app is not working and i need proof i turned it in so i am not charged another day. her attitude was shit told me too bad the U-Haul system is down and she cant rent or check in trucks. at 5pm a guy walked up and rented a truck and she was in the system so i asked again and she said nope you have to use the app that is not working. wake up Sunday to another charge on my credit card that should never of been their to begin with. this service is poor and its really pathetic that she would not help and she should be fired for her piss poor customer service

The owner took a second out of his day to share stories while the truck was warming up and then decided to help me break away the remaining snow from the windshield. If you get the chance to read this sir, I just wanted to say thank you for being an amazing person.

How does anyone know how to fill a tank to 1/2, or 3/4, or 7/8? Why not fill the tank and require a filled tank on return? This way, I don't have to stop mid-way in my trip to fill up and then then fill again when I return when I get it with 1/2 a tank. Full out, full in!

We loaded up then found that air was low on 2 tires; mirrors were rusted in place and not adjustable. No way to pump up tires. Lady behind the counter was not unpleasant and moved us to another vehicle. Driver's seat stuck and not adjustable on second vehicle. We took it anyway. Final bill had a cleaning fee but no cleaning was done or needed. Makes one wonder. Could be just one of those things. Manager was pleasant and agreed to remove charge. I own a business (used to own 2 service stations) and HATE leaving negative reviews; but, these issues could all be easily avoided with just a little care.

The associate at 14040 Park Center Road was not helpful at all. She said I have to go to another store 44 miles away in order to get a big truck. After I took a small truck from her, I drove 4 miles and found another U-Haul with the big trucks I needed. She had access to the information on her computer, but she mislead me and cost me the price of renting an extra truck I did not need.

The truck I received was terrible. Probably no maintenance was done to it in years. I reserved equipment that was not available to me at this location. They sent me 13 miles one way to pick up the equipment from another location, which added 26 miles to the trip. When I called and complained about it, I was told they will add 20 miles to the contract and that I won't be charged for the extra fuel. I was charged for the extra fuel. I wouldn't recommend this location or service to anyone.
