Anthony SWorst U-Haul experience ever. You can't work with the person at the counter, everything has to be done through the app. When trying to pick up by clicking the link in the confirmation email, it continuously redirects you to the app. The app wouldn't load at all, so I tried to use the browser, and even that barely worked on their WiFi. I was unable to use the camera feature for most of the photos during pickup, but thankfully was able to use it for the minimum one photo required. There was also a weirdly extensive ID verification process I've never seen before that involved having an additional person called to verify my identity. I'm used to a smooth pickup experience of walking into the store, getting the keys and providing my ID, and leaving. This was absolutely horrendous by comparison. I was there for over 45 minutes just trying to get the truck picked up, which made me late to meet our moving crew. I will never use U-Haul again after this experience. I will be taking my business to Home Depot instead.

MICHAEL OI tried to reserve for 6pm pickup. I got notified that the location closed at 5pm so I had to take leave from work to get there early. When I arrived I learned that the U-Haul pickup was entirely self service. I didn’t configure anything for self service and didn’t have the app so I had to stand in a parking lot and figure that all out.
