In hindsight I would have used a closer facility to where I was picking up the stuff. Tire light came on indicating I needed to fill to 80 PSI. Note many gas stations don't go that high. I would expect the tires to be inflated before I picked it up. In addition, roads are really tight down there. No big deal but a little nerve wracking when getting used to the trick. Staff very friendly.

Double check what the mileage has in the truck compared to what the paper says. They tried to tell me that I drove the truck for 200 miles in in fact it was only 11 miles. Who ever checked it in last didn't update the mileage in the computer. The gentleman researched it and fixed it but could you imagine how I would feel if he didn't?

This location was the absolute worst experience I've ever had using U-Haul. The associate was NOT friendly or courteous, at all. Asking simple questions felt like I was doing something wrong. The associate failed to even go through the typical walk-through of the vehicle, ensuring the previous damage physical damage of the truck was marked to ensure I was not blamed for damaged to the vehicle. Once I located the keys, [yes as I located the keys] that were not handed to me, but were stashed in the sun visor, the truck had an awful odor and smelled of heavy smoke. While driving the truck, my brother and I noticed heat that was clearly coming from the engine area of the vehicle. I checked all of the options that were on the instrument panel to ensure the heat was not on. That truck was an oven death-trap! Overall, this was an absolute horrendous experience with U-Haul. I went with U-Haul over Budget based off of past experiences of using both brands. In the past, I noticed the brand quality, trucks, and service was far superior over Budget however, now I'm not so sure anymore. I have unfortunately, another move coming up in a week and I highly doubt I'll return to U-Haul!

This experience was incredibly unsatisfying. As I approached the entrance the "Manager" appeared to have an attitude and presented as if he did not want to help me. As a customer I incur an expense to come here. I deserve to be greeted by someone who is excited to help me. This "manager" was not polite, friendly or welcoming at all! I would never refer anyone to rent from this location. This so called manager really needs to work on his people skills! I would rate this a negative 5 star but there's no option for that.....

Uhaul location store was "open" but the door was closed and no one was there. We waited for 30 minutes outside the storage facility until someone wandered back to the front. Pretty sure someone was taking a nap/watching TV in the back. On moving day, this was no a pleasant experience waiting around for.

I was charged for several gallons of gas when I had made sure to fill the gas tank to the level it was when we picked up the truck. Was very disappointed to see that as the level was at the correct amount. The gas gauge in the truck is done in 1/4ths and is also very small with a large needle so it is hard to pinpoint the exact level while the paperwork is done in 1/8ths this makes it difficult to achieve the exact fuel level. Thought that it was somewhat unfair to charge for several more gallons of fuel when the gauge is not even set up to be accurate enough to tell the exact level.

U-Haul Contract 24361339: I was charged for two days but should have only been charged for one. I returned on Sun 2/5 about 24 hours after pick up. The clerk had told me that anytime before the 1 PM store opening would count as just one day or else I would have returned on the night of 2/4. The receipt incorrectly stated my return time was 12:50 PM but it was actually around 9 AM. Please refund my card with the additional day.

When we went to drop off the truck, the agent had gone off site to take care of business. We called the number posted and were instructed to put the key in the slot. I felt a little uncomfortable not being able to meet with the agent, but it seems everything was OK.
