The lady who rented the truck never acknowledged me while she was on the phone with someone whenever I went into the office, as a courtesy she could've said I'll be right with you, but instead she gave me a look like I was disturbing her and continued her 20 minute call. Also the truck I was given had a huge crack in the window, which she never walked me out to the truck to look it over with her and then I call to tell her that I noticed while I was driving had a huge crack in the windshield she asked if I had done it. I told her that I did not and then she proceeded to ask how big was the crack and I told her it was about 3-4 inches, she said they usually don't fix the windshield unless it is over 5 inches, which sounds ridiculous to me considering windshield cracks spread considering I drove about 500 miles I didn't want a rock to hit it and spread more, but she was sure to let me know that I could keep it or bring it back totally up to me. I chose to get another one In the end my u-haul replaced by another one.

When we went to pick up our truck that we had reserved online, the size truck we wanted was not available. Instead we were going to be charged for a larger truck. After much discussion with the employee working the front desk, we explained that since we were not made aware that the truck size we wanted was not available, we were not willing to pay for the more expensive truck and were finally offered the price that we were originally quoted. When we got there for our 8 AM reservation, we were also told that our reservation was not until 2:30 (despite having a confirmation email that the time was at 8 AM).

I had ordered 48 furniture pads. Only about 20 were provided. A Little disappointing. Given I made my reservation 2 weeks in advance, there was plenty of time to stage the additional pads. Not a show stopper, but can be improved.

The location had none of the accessories I selected when I paid online. I had to purchase furniture pads and go to another location to rent a dolly. Inventory management is easy in 2018 and this shouldn't be a problem. On the other hand, the staff member there was awesome. He was polite and friendly and got us on our way quickly. If not for him, I'd give the location a much worse rating.

On Sept. 2nd we picked up a cargo van from this location. Upon inspection of the van prior to departure the electronic dash indicator read "Right RR tire low add air to tire". We inspected the tire then went inside to inform the attendant of the issue. The attendant asked "was the tire flat flat". We responded no and the attendant said "we should be ok". Out of the 2 people working the office that day, neither bothered to come outside of the office to check the vehicle after we raised our concern. After driving and reaching the 1st of our many stops, we found that the tire had a very large bolt stuck in it and was losing air at a very rapid pace. The air was exiting the tire at a rate that there was an audible hissing sound while driving. When we called this location about the issue 1st we were asked if we needed to be some were soon (as if you rent Uhauls just to cruise around) then we were told to call road side assistance. There just happen to be a different Uhaul site close by to our location when we found the bolt in the tire. At this location we were 1st told to call roadside service then one of the employees decided to provide great customer service and change the tire for us at this location. We are thankful for that gentlemen that decided to do the right thing and take care of us while we were at their location. The other 4 Uhaul employees we encountered that day did not provide any decent level of customer service while at their location.

Uhaul moved the original time and location that I booked online to a new location further away and an hour later. I was notified of this change the day before. When I arrived to pick up the trailor, my order was not complete. I requested 2 packages of furniture blankets which were not included. When I inquired about this, I was told they didn’t have any and there was nothing I could do.

Last week, I had experiences with 3 different U-Haul establishments. The first one changed my reservation of a 26 ft truck from a nearby Super Center to a gas station 30 miles away, the second one, booked me for a storage unit, only to get there and kfind it occupied, and the third one provided such good customer service that it mad up for the horrible service that I received from the other U-Hauls. Emily, the manager, when above and beyond what was expected, found me another storage unit - when it was clear that one unit was not going to work for me, and waited until we completely unloaded the truck into the 2 units, even though the store had closed for the day. Thank you so much, Emily! You totally salvaged the reputation of your company in my eyes!
