The Manager Jessica Harris at The Scott's Addition At The Diamond has never provide good customer service during the 3 years I've had service there. I have had issues with my move-in from the beginning and nothing was ever resolved. I have called Customer Service dozens of times on behalf of this location and her behavior towards customers still hasn't changed. I was informed that I will have 24 Access with my entry code on the day of my move- out i had to wait over 5 hours to get into my unit to move my things out which pushed up my time to return the moving truck resulting in higher expenses due to returning late. Once I spoke with someone from the office by the name of Karya she also was no help. They have no empathy or sympathy to customer. They constantly interrupt you while speaking and will tell you what shows in the system based on your experience while never accompanying you. I received an email from this location that my lock was cut off due to being the incorrect lock which was on my unit for over 3years, Correction I had 2 locks. Amd from March 2nd until March 23 is when I spoke with the Manager after numerous calls and complaints were placed thru customer service. When she contacted me she informed me that the email was sent by error and that my lock was still on my unit. And asked me I visited that I would see the lock in still on the unit. I informed her as I did in the past that I was out of state. I received a call March 30th for my payment, then another call from Jessica on the 31st which she has never done all of this time. I asked her to waive the storage fee for March due to mishap on her end as I was moving out. She said No I will still have to pay. So I contacted Marketing and they were able to push up the date to April 28, 2026. Once I arrived to the facility after 1:30am on March 31st. I attempted to log in with my code which I've had since move in and received the message Access Denied contact Mgr which has never happened within the 3 years I've been there and have always came to my unit at random times. I contacted the office April 1st and was told that I only have 5hr access. I asked then why does my account show that I have 24hr Access? I was informed that only companies have 24 hr access which i knew was a Lie. And was told if any changes were made to my account that they would be able to see it. After the treatment I receive from your Staff, I have already seemed Counsel as nothing has been resolved thru all of these years. And Uhaul does not care about the experience of their customers just the money we spend.
Tameka K | Overall ExperienceOverall, I was extremely satisfied with my experience with the front desk agent whose name I don’t recall at the moment… I think it was Ronell. May he be celebrated and generously compensated for going above and beyond t to verbally walk me through an urgent and crucial experience. In the past, I had some concerns. The display regarding temperature says it will not go below 40° but I had gone in and it was over 70° on another day, which had resulted in mold on my grandson‘s car seat. Uncertain how long I will have to use the facility but I’m concerned that some of my furniture that is covered in fabric may have been affected by mold as well. On this particular day,I was grateful to be able to connect directly with the store because usually the call is intercepted by Customer Service. I had seen him in the store on the previous day because I reported that the toilet seat had fallen off in the bathroom on site and I was almost injured. When we connected on the phone, he was just as kind, patient, reassuringand courteous as he had been in the store. At this time, I was extremely anxious because I could not access your door nor find an alternate way into the building. I access code permitted me to come in and out of the gate, however, the lock on the building appeared to have been tampered with because although my code was accepted, the lock seemed like it was jimmied shut. He was diligent about connecting with his manager, who had left for the day in order to have her instruct me on how to get in. Apparently the door handle has to be pulled a certain way in order to gain access. Therefore, my strongest suggestion would be to either have staff available on site, or to create another point of access into the building, should someone else who would be unsuccessful in reaching the actual Scott’s Addition store would be as alarmed and frustrated as I was, if not more.
