The owner would not return phone calls. She did not accept or mark my rental as being returned was not friendly or customer service oriented about the matter. She seemed unconcerned that I was given incorrect information only that she wanted Uhaul to come and pick up the auto transport trailer. I tried to call several times and left messages at her office and she did not return one phone call. I contacted corporate and regional office and no return calls on yesterday regarding this same matter. Customer service drives your business. I did everything I was told to on my call and I still was not treated fairly as a customer. I paid over $150 for a few hours to be chastised by a dealer, how unfortunate.

Mobile check in and check out are a little time consuming.

The mobile check-in is terrible to say the least. I had to take picture of my driver license and myself about 5 times, only to not be able to check-in and pick up the truck I needed. I tried for about an hour. This system is extremely flawed because it shouldn't be that difficult. Please rethink the process because it was annoying to say the least.

The mobile pickup app made the process much more cumbersome and difficult. I spent 20 minutes trying to get verified when I ended up having to go in and get the keys anyway. This is not a reflection on the staff at West Broad Mini Storage. They were great! The mobile pick up process was not. It was difficult to get back to the live messaging with an agent when I ran into problems. Also the validation on the alternate contact form prevented me from moving forward by not recognizing a valid phone number. Additionally, please indicate that contacts will get a phone call from an Arizona phone number so that that know to pick up. Overall, the mobile pick app was an unsatisfactory user experience.

Everything worked out great. Sign up was easy, customer service was great and courteous. Vehicle was clean and ran well. I had no problems or issues and would definitely recommend this location to friends. I will use this location again.

First of all the location is easy to miss even though they are right off of broad street and secondly they don’t have a lot of options. The office space is extremely small. When I went to pick up the van the gentleman running the office was nice enough however the next day the person working who identified herself as Holly was extremely rude. Starting from the tone of her voice to the way she talks. She will only try to be nice if she thinks you may complain. She gives u-haul a bad name.

U-Haul dropped my reservation the day I was scheduled to pick up my truck and supplies. The attendant at the location I went to was still able to supply me with what I needed but apparently this is reoccurring software issue. To improve service for the next customer, work on this issue so that it does not happen as often as it does. It's quite stressful hearing your reservation has been lost on moving day after you've paid money to secure it and confirmed ahead of time the reservation was indeed in the system.

Spoken with customer service and booked this 10' truck. But when i went to pickup the location to pickup changed email but while received call on sunday i was told that i have to pickup from the Dominion Blvd, Glen Allen at Cox Road, 23059. But when i went there no truck available, then they told me to go to 1 mile away place, There the truck breakdown, then i have to go another place and finally got the truck. This was my experience. So nervous and last minute information to pickup was panic. Other wise truck is very clean and good.

The location doesn't have a big sign so it can be difficult to spot. Overall, I had a great experience. The check-in process was a bit lengthy but it was easy to follow. The price was affordable and the rental was nice and clean. Would highly recommend to a friend.

There were some issues with my experience, but they were not the fault of the location or the person (Martin) at the pickup location. He was great. When you call the number for Uhaul locations, if they don't answer the call is rolled over to another location, often far away. They don't tell you that when they answer, so if you are trying to get information about the local area, local serives, etc., they will tell you what they are reading from a screen, but not necessarily tell you that's what they are doing. So my advice is ask if they are at the actual store you think you are talking to before you put faith in what they are telling you. the first rental agent that I spoke with and set the reservation up with was extremely pushy, even though I had said from the beginning I called to inquire and get information. Every sentence ended with "Just give me blah blah blah and I'll set up your FREE reservation." I did end up setting up a reservation with her, and getting pushed into agreeing on a certain number of hours (ALWAYS tell them 24 hours.. the rental is for 24 hours but if you say 4 and bring it back in 5 you get charged a late fee.) I just wanted to get off the phone with her really, and ended up having to change it because I didn't get an accurate answer to my questions about the location relative to where I was going to be working. It was far from where I thought it was. So I ended up talking to someone at UHAUL 4 times to get the reservation made and then changed. Funny that not one of those times did anyone say anything to me about having an "EHOLD" on my name, meaning UHAUL didn't like the way I argued a bill in the past and made a notation not to rent to me in the future.Not until I had driven over 100 miles and was standing at the counter with a franchisee employee trying to complete printing the contract did a message appear to that effect. Another 30 minutes of phone calls and me stating that I had no problem NOT being a Uhaul customer anymore and saying I would just go up the street to Home Depot and rent a truck, and then suddenly the EHOLD was removed. But there is no reason for them not to have told me from the beginning about it and just let me walk away from the whole deal and be somebody else's customer. Win-win or no deal. There were issues with the online system to complete the rental contract. It seems there should have been an easier way for the franshisee rental agent to get support for that system from UHaul so that the transaction could have been completed sooner. So Broad Street Mini Storage is great! Uhaul needs to work on their systems.
