The truck was not cleaned before we picked it up, and there was a very strong, unpleasant smell in the cab that we had to endure throughout the entire trip. There was also trash left inside that we had to clean up and dispose of ourselves. We were disappointed with the condition of the truck

Deborah JYou need to fix your app! For pick up, we had to call and talk to a customer service rep because we weren't getting next steps and instead got a message to call. Jordan was fantastic, I would give her 10 stars if I could! When we uploaded the pictures and everything, we did not get a lockbox code and had go inside the location, fortunately someone was there who could access the keys. For drop off, the app said to drop off the keys in the drop box BEFORE the indicator to go to the next step and we again had to go inside to get someone to retrieve the keys. It was pouring rain when I was trying to take the pictures of the truck, my finger slipped on my wet phone and boom, all the pictures were deleted and I had to take them again, in the pouring rain. We purposefully selected a different retail location so we could have a retail experience instead of self serve and were automatically switched to a different location and then were automatically switched to self serve the day we picked up the truck. The only reasons I would consider renting from Uhaul again are 1. Jordan and her stellar customer service and 2. being able to hire XP Moving (Will and Austin, who were great) at the same time as renting a truck. Your app and self service process need some serious work.
