First this location did not have formally trained employees to answer my questions. Then the truck was not cleaned out from the previous user. When I attempted to start up the truck I was met with a low tire pressure alert and has to go back in and request that someone turn on the air to refill them myself. If I didnt absolutely need this rental I would have canceled right then because basic safety protocols would be to ensure all tires are inflated to the proper levels before releasing it to a customer. I will continue to use uhaul services but never at this location again.
Andrew VI prefer at the pick up and drop off location the truck be inspected. That is not happening at any of the locations
CHARLOTTE SI booked several Uhauls online. I have my own insurance so I decline everything. After I picked up the two rentals I noticed that Safemove was added. The facility could not take it off and told me to call customer service. Customer service noted the file but could not take it off until after I returned the vehicle and they would refund me. I returned the truck between 12 PM and 1 PM on 08/22/26. The facility did not clear it and count it as returned until 08/23/26 after 1:30 PM adding an additional day on to my rental. I called customer service again and still have not had a resolution on the extra day charge and the Safemove. I rent several trucks throughout the year. If I had not looked at my receipts online I would have not seen the extra charges.
Michelle RIt's close to my address. The manager should know how to manage the store and enter information for the UHAUL situations as well. I think this location may be the reason we keep getting attempted charges for the extra day extension that WE DID NOT NEED or TAKE. We turned truck in on time. He said his coworker was not coming in yet but they would enter the correct time we turned it in. We keep getting attempted charges (even after having a receipt for actual charge and payment) for what appears to be for an extra day.
