The first location where my reservation was for pick up was HORRIBLE. It appeared to be a junk auto biz and they were using the only Auto Transport for their business and said the equipment was "out of service"..it looked fine to me. They should be removed from the system. Lucky for me at the late hour I was able to find equipment 2 miles away at Uhaul 2902 Hershberger Rd Roanoke, VA 24017 where the rep was able to help out without any issue and called customer service to switch my reservation.JAMES V.

The trailer worked extremely well. If there was a short explanation of the net usage for the front tires, how to load and unloading time could have been reduced. We were delayed removing the vehicle due to circumstances with the vehicle shifting causing overtightening of the straps. There was no chain for securing the towed vehicle at the rear end. This allows the weight to shift forward. The only chain at the front became to tight to remove easily. The entire trip (200 miles) went very smoothly without problems or incidents. The truck and trailer were very easy to maneuver, handled very well, and the stability was much better than we expected. Customer service was perfect.JUDYANN G.
The tire service light was on the entire time I had the van. No one did a walk around the van with me. I found out after I left that I had no idea how to use the headlights. Also, the van was muddy on the outside. However, the inside was clean. I don't like the fact that no receipt was given at the end of the contract . I was not able to see my rental contract/agreement at time of pick-up and had to "trust" that everything was in order. It was emailed to me for later review. Similarly, I could not see my receipt at the time of return and again had to "trust" that everything was correct. It was emailed to me for later review. I asked the staffer to show me my receipt on any U-Haul device/computer screen and he was unable to do so. 26 ft "gentle ride" truck was faulty mechanicallying, very bad suspension resulting in difficult acceleration, then brakes were faulty, screeching, locking up, then had power steering issues...Also, auto transport had not been properly checked in from previous renter...I felt ripped off, so I have filed a complaint for total reimbursement of my $1500...KARENCROOK B.
