Send them to Penske or Ryder! I called to reserve my truck and was very clear that I wanted to pick up my truck at 10 A.M. the next morning to use for the day. So to my surprise my wife wakes me up before 8 A.M.and tells me that U-haul is calling asking if I am still coming to get my truck that I reserved for 7-11 A.M. ???? If it's a 24 hour rental why do I have to have it back by 11 the same day??? So I get ready and have my wife drop me off to get the truck and they cant find my reservation !!! That they just called me about 15 minutes ago!!! Then they tell me I didnt go online and reserve or confirm my reservation!! So when I called and gave them ALL my info what did they do with it?? So I asked if he could just enter my info because my wife had dropped me off and I would have to go back home to get online to confirm my email acct to register my with U-Haul to confirm the reservation I made by phone the day before!!! HE SAID NO!!! So i'm trying to figure it out on my tiny cell phone and get in touch with my wife and for some reason e asks for my I.D. and does it himself. and it takes all of 26 seconds!!! SO WHY THEE HELL HAVE I BEEN STANDING IN UHAUL FOR ALMOST 30 MINUTES TRYING TO CONFIRM A RESERVATION THAT I MADE THE DAY BEFORE SO HE CAN TELL ME HE CAN'T HELP ME THEN WHEN HE'S TIRED OF MY QUESTIONS AND SLOWNESS HE CAN HELP ME? AND WHEN I RETURN THE TRUCK IT'S AN EVEN WORSE ORDEAL. AND I PAID FOR A 24 HOUR RENTAL AND HAD IT BACK IN 4 BUT I DIDN'T GET A DISCOUNT. U-HAUL SUCKS FROM THE STORE EMPLOYMENT TEAM TO THE CORPORATE PROGRAMS THEY HAVE PUT IN PLACE TO TRY TO SAVE MONEY AT THE CUSTOMERS EXPENSE! NUFF SAID

Guys were having issues with the computers but they stayed in good spirits. Wish you would fix the mobile app to not be so slow and I would add it. Also, you need to have wi-fi available if you want customers to transmit 6-10 images. Not everyone has unlimited data.

I got robbed .. they acted like they were helping me then they took 226 but on paper they said we only paid 105 and 46 and I rented it for 18 hours ... so I paid 226 for 18 hrs trailer ... would never do this again and telling bbb on them and town hall and attorney General as well.

There was suppose to be a $20. credit issued for returning to Roanoke Va. because Blacksburg was full. U-haul got 106.92 and never credited the 20 for us having to go out-of-our-way.

This rental was a nightmare. First I had to get a hitch installed on my vehicle. I was given a written quote of $43.03 on 07/10/17. The part had to be ordered from another state. The following day I get a text from that state and location advising me of a installation time. I called that location and was advised that who ever entered the info set it up to be installed at their location. I then called the Hershberger Roanoke location and was advised that they had the part and could install it hitch there. Don't know how they messed that up. Made an appointment for 7/20/17 to have the hitch installed around lunch time. I was advised it would take around 45 minutes to install. Two and a half hours later it was completed. Because of the delay I had to miss a meeting that had been set up. To make matters worst the $43.03 turned out to be $119. After complaining about the delay and the original quote a employee knocked off $20. That was still about $56 more that expected. I was suppose to pick up the trailer on 7/29/17 to pack for a trip to Atlanta. On 7/28/17 I received a text saying that the trailer would be available at 4:30 PM on the 29th. I needed the trailer the morning of the 29th so I could pack the trailer. I called the location and was advised that had no other trailers available. To this day I do not know where they got the time that I wanted the trailer at 4:30 PM. I checked all of the other U-Haul locations in the area and no one had a trailer. I then called the U-Haul 800# to complain. After 27 minutes and 44 seconds on the phone I was advised that the location would have my trailer available on the morning of the 29th. Why couldn't the Hershberger location have made these arraignments instead of the customer having to call the 800#? The entire ordeal with this location was a nightmare. I'll never deal with this location again and have let everyone I know hear my story.
