Altogether, a fantastic first ever experience with this company. My wife and I rented a 10 ft box truck, to move our one bedroom apartment. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. The bill was explained thoroughly before the rental took place, and again after I returned it. My only qualm was the per mile price, as I felt that was higher than necessary, but it absolutely will not deter me from using uhaul every time I move from now on. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

When I rented the trailer online, I paid extra for 10 blankets, however when my husband picked up the trailer he was told that there were no blankets rented. The clerk at the counter gave him six blankets instead of the ten I had requested. I'm not sure if there was an extra charge added or not because I cannot see the invoice.

Ensure the gas tank is filled up to the amount stated it was. We had to fill it up before leaving cause it was way lower than what we were told.

had to wait about 10 mins to be seen at first to pick up my dolly, but when I dropped it off the attendant met me at my truck to get me unhooked as soon as I was in the parking lot.

truck leaked cargo light was out self return online is cumbersome, outdated, time consuming, and too many questions at the end, people are tired and just want to leave the truck not play twenty questions.

I do not think there can be an improvement. The customer service person was one of the best customer service I have experience with Uhaul. He was very attentive and prompt upon my arrival. Need more persons like him in your organization.

The truck was parked in the locked storage unit area, and required walking several hundred feet back and forth to inspect the vehicle, then pick up the keys from the office, then return to the vehicle during self pick-up. A staircase that would have removed much of the walking had been fenced across.

Many thing went wrong with this experience. 1st tracking was not set up for the ubox. On 7.9.19 I spent over an hour and passed around to 5 different people before I was told it would arrive 7.15.18 and to the location were there was room to hold the ubox not to the closes location to my destination. Then it arrived the next day on 7.10.18. On 7.13.18 I received a picture of the ubox with damage and a message from Katie say it didn't look like anything got damaged. But clearly in the picture I had items hanging out of the broken door. On 7.19.18 I contacted Katie asking how to handle the situation since the ubox was broken I did not want to pull it. On 7.20.18 She said she would discount the cargo van fee and mileage. I said that would be fine if it would all fit in one trip. She said "you should be able". I said that was fine but 2 trips were not an option and unloading a van to reload a box truck was not an option either and I would be there on Sunday 7.22.18. She didn't respond back. When I arrived at the uhaul location on Sunday she had advised the individuals who were work I would be there, except she told them that i could have the cargo van with all waived fees or a box truck with no waived mileage. Once I stated how she never answered my last text the employee waved the box truck fees since it was new news to me. Now that I have completely unpacked, my bakers rack is missing 2 of its 4 legs and the corner of my TV is damaged but my TV still works, it is only the framing that is loose. I feel super upset with the unprofessionalism it the 1st text stating it didn't look like anything was damaged to the not responding to a business text to the fees trying to be charged because I didn't like the only option being given to me on how to get my stuff home after my ubox was damaged. This was a stressful experience with uhaul and very unsatisfying way of it being handled.
