Was told by the gentleman that the location I was to drop off was different than the location I intended to use. He told me " It doesn't matter", and would not correct the contract. After I dropped off (at my preferred location) I was contacted and told I would incur over $75.00 in additional charges!!!

Have the original truck I needed. I went to the Irondequoit location, they didnt have a 26' truck due to another customer not returning it on time, and I was stuck with a 17' truck from this location after 2 hours dealing with a mountain of shit. The people at the 747 West Main St. location were great though. Wonderful people. Overall, I will recommend to any friends that they use Penske, DiCarolis, Ryder, Budget, or anyone else I can think of. I was also told I would receive a $50 credit if I called back the next day... I have called 3 times now and not received a call back. Overall, horrible experience with Uhaul. This started off my move in a horrible fashion.

This location is in a bad area of town, located on a small one way side street, which made it difficult to maneuver a large truck out of the parking lot.

we were charged 141 dollars for a 12 mile trip. when we dropped off the truck they guy said it would be around 45$. as he was giving the receipt, system froze or the machine broke and he said he could email the receipt to the one on file, i found that acceptable. I never received the email. i called u haul about the 85$ hold the next day and than they tell me i owe them 141 dollars more, saying theres a fee for dropping it off at a diff location. If that was the case why wouldn't the guy who took the truck let us know. thats more than 100$ difference, we would have just taken the truck to the location we picked it up at, it was only a few miles away.

I had reservation for 9am pick up, they were not there. I called number on door the person said they will be there in 20 mins, person did not show up for 45 mins, although my reservation was first to be rented and I was first in line he took a walk in reservation before me. Then a Uhaul field manager came as a pop up I explained situation and he got me signed out because owner went with walkin person outside. Upon returning the owner saw me but got in his car to leave a woman was at the door and abruptly locked the door, I rang buzzer for her to yell rudely to drop key in box I told her I was returning early and where to park truck since parking lot was full and the business wasnt closed for another hour for her to rudely say she dont care and to do as she says. At the same time another customer came for truck reservation pick up she rang buzzer told the woman for a rude remark and that she is not doing reservations so oh well. The woman called number on door spoke to owner who said he will not return for 3 hours and she will have to wait she agsin advised him of reservation time and he said she can rent from somewhere else. I was appalled. Never will I rent from this company again. Uhaul needs to pull their business from them.

I was given a vehicle that needed maintenance badly. In addition to the numerous scratches, dings and dents, the cab leaked in the rain and the display constantly showed that the truck was overdue for an oil change.

It was hard to find. They need better signage and the tenant upstairs had to tell me I couldn't park in the lot located near the store. So I had to moved the truck according to the tenant above the store. I had to drive further to drop off the truck because another lot was full. I don't feel I should be charge for that.

Nothing needs to be improved at this site. Everyone at the W. Main Street, Rochester, NY U-Haul site were very polite and accommodating. You are lucky to have such pleasant & qualified employes at this location, Best customer Service of any U-Haul I've ever been to.

Did not call our secondary contact number when pickup location changed, so we had to drive out of the way at last minute. Did not have dolly that we ordered. Did not complete Safemove rental form.

When I arrived home, there were dirty bandaids, nails, and lots of small debris throughout the back of the truck. On the back wall, there was a sign saying that if the truck is not cleaned out, customers would be charged a $25 cleaning fee.



The woman at the counter was very nice.

It took us an hour at the site for the person to complete the paperwork--it should never take that long. While I appreciated the fact that the site had called me to alert me that the truck I wanted (a 21 foot truck) was not available, getting the truck should not have been so hard. I had to take a larger truck which I also hated. I won't use UHaul again, despite being a customer for over 35 years. I'll try Penske next time.

site was not opened when I arrived, and it took 45 minutes to get the truck released to me. I had also ordered 24 pads, and they only had 6. The guys said, in a very cavalier fashion, that I could just pickup the rest at another U-Haul location.

I was sent to this location as opposed to the location I requested because it was the nearest one with the available equipment even though I made the reservation more than a week in advance. They had the right size truck but only 5 of the 12 furniture pads and no utility dolly. Also I was charged for going over my allotted miles when the number of miles I went over were less than the number of miles difference between my intended location and this one. Also the man seemed very annoyed with us. Overall, my experience was very poor and I do not intend to use your services in the future.
