There is no dropbox for the key!!! Yet, we were told when we picked up the u-haul (and within the app) that we could drop-off after hours. Our entire moving plan was based on this reality. We spent almost an hour walking around the drop-off location at 11pm at night looking for anywhere to leave the key; to no avail. So, we had to come all the way back the next day during open hours to leave the key. This was a HUGE inconvenience and very frustrating. U-haul either needs to make it clear that there is no drop-off after hours option, or much better: make the gas station exxon mobile business that is managing this drop-off actually add a key drop off box (and make it easy to find).
CLAIRE EThis pick-up was easier than an actual U-Haul store. Quick, easy, and the truck was in excellent condition.
GARY HNice as the staff were, because this is not a real U-Haul center, there was little the staff could do to correct errors. U-Haul set this as my pickup location (for $40 discount), but because this is just a gas station, they did not have the extra equipment that was part of my rental. I had to go somewhere else. There were issues with the check out and, in the end, I was delay two hours in departing, which affected my drive that day. I will make sure to only pick up at proper U-Haul centers in the future, although I might come here if the *only* thing being picked up was a truck (no blankets, dolly, or anythingelse).
EDWARD FWas not open to return equipment during posted hours. Didn't bother to check equipment in until 5 days later and had added several hundred additional miles to equipment when it was checked in.
