The check in process to pick up the rental car was terribly bad. It took 40 minutes to get the car, which we needed for one hour. They made a mistake when explaining the insurance, which was supposed to be charged to my card but it wasn’t. I asked the lady why she would charge my CC even though I didn’t authorize it, she said the pick up was a leased vehicle and she made a mistake. No other explanation was given and somebody else took over to get my personal auto insurance so I wouldn’t pay the $10 insurance Uhaul wanted to get. I wasn’t informed about the fuel fee at all. Otherwise I wouldn’t have rented the pick up in the first place. I don’t see why Uhaul would charge me for fuel I never used

Clerk seemed bored and annoyed by our presence and the fact that we wanted to rent a vehicle. His customer service skills were nearly non existent. Did a poor job explaining the process.

Vehicle check-in was very easy

I'm a usual renter of trailers at uhaul rockville. After hours drop off is never an issue usually but this last drop off was incredible. Firstly the trailer was given was badly beat up. The rails on the side were severely bent in, the rear was bent. The fenders has received some noticeable dents. All above and beyond the normal condition of hhe trailers I received. The rear damage was so bad the license plate was flopping around. But the worst was the after hours drop off. For some reason the employees had thought it was a good idea to block off all entrances with the massive box trucks. The drive way was completely blocked off to the rear pickup and storage area leading to no way to drop off any equipment. A problem that I and several other trailer renters faced that evening. The front driveway was also partially blocked, bar 1 opening. I ended up leaving it in the front driveway opening space but it was extremely difficult as the heavy trailer and incline of the front parking lot caused the trailer to always inch and move forward, a precarious situation as it could bolt into the roadway if unsecured. I ended up having to push and pull ehe extremely heavy 6x12 trailer to get its wheel cocked against the curb. This was the most bizzare and weirdest and most difficult return procedure.

Quicker counter service please.

The wait to pick up my truck was extremely long. The parking lot was packed, and trucks were stalled behind other trucks. The reps working the desk seemed disinterested. The workers that were helping returns were very helpful.

Online/Phone check out was the best, this was the easiest truck rental I have ever dealt with! Nice job U-Haul.

Location was very hard to get in and out of. To much equipment not enough space.

There should be a place to leave your car. It was also difficult starting the truck. Overall pretty good experience with customer service

The truck was old.

The incredibly loud banging noises made me think that the box is actually detaching from the truck. Incredible decibel levels. Also, there is a terribly annoying squeaking noise over the left driver shoulder. The drive is extremely loud and annoying. And I drive these trucks 5-7 times a month

Not a thing, they were helpful pleasant and it was a very positive transaction. Will recommend this location highly.

person on the phone spoke too fast. I had to ask several times to repeat. But I am 78 and perhaps my hearing is deteriorating.

Excellent experience at this U-Haul location. I purchased many moving supplies, and rented a 15' truck. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I even received assistance loading my vehicle with moving supplies from Freddy. Highly recommend this location to others. Thanks.

Customer service was pretty bad when picking up the truck. Woman who took care of us was extremely slow and muttered profanity under her breath multiple times. It took almost 15 minutes for her to finish helping us.

I checked in online, but felt like I had to repeat everything when I got there.

You lied to me about the price and over charged me.

I opted for the 24/7 check-in using my phone. At the end of the day the website froze when picking up the van. What happen was that the milage reported did not match the milage of the van when I picked it up; the website instructed me to take a picture of the actual milage but the camera feature did not work properly. I had to go to the front desk and start a new contract and use a different van. It is obvious that the 24/7 feature needs more work.
