The staff and location were fine. The issue is your app and shipping. The 24 hr/ 7 day week person never called me back when there was an issue with the order, so I couldn't pick the truck up at 8AM prior to store opening so I had to wait in line. Also never received the dolly I ordered online to ship to my apartment for $60

My original reservation was for Sunday morning. The line at the site was long and moving very slowly. My phone app did not work for "Instant Checkout" or whatever you call it. Tuesday was just fine.

I am disappointed with the service I received last evening (Wednesday). After seeing the positive Yelp ratings for this location (which I used in the distant past for truck rental and storage), and signing up for expedited processing through my cell phone, my expectations were high. The two employees - one at the counter and one with the vehicles - were helpful and overwhelmed. In addition, the online check-in service was not working at the location and so I still had to stand in line. Then, when I located the van, the outside employee was not there and so I had to go looking for him. I was unable to open the back doors because the van was parked against another truck's front bumper. In addition, although I was renting the van for only three hours, which extended past the store's hours, they would not allow me to park in their customer lot. Instead, I had to park half a block away in a shopping center's parking lot. The pick-up process took about 20 minutes and re-parking my car took another 7. I suggest that they have more staff members for rush periods like 5 - 7 pm. I cannot imagine what the process is like on a truly busy day like Friday evening or Saturday morning.

Your system of first getting the trailer attached and then waiting in line for the paperwork is fine if it is clear to the customer that this is the process. However, I and most of the others wasted a long time in line at the front desk before we were told this was the process. Very frustrating and inefficient!! Also, the manage of Uhaul, whose card is on the counter, does not return repeated phone messages. I am not sure he even exists. You could do a lot to improve the rental experience with a better and clearer process and a manager who actually returns a customer's phone call. U-haul is one of the last vendor's I use that does not understand the concept of customer service.

We were unable to return unused boxes including a flat screen tv box using an online receipt, so I lost something like $40. We wasted over an hour trying. The lines were long because other people were also having trouble.

I was somewhat late to get my truck. At the time of the reservation it did not state I will loose it if late. I did not get any kind of notice about the cancellation of my reservation. Due to this I was not given the truck I wanted. It has to be clear to the customer how they risk to loose a reservation and how to avoid this.

Everything was easy! In and out. Trailer was perfectly functional. Staff was friendly and courteous. Even following a tough interaction with a difficult customer during my pickup - and while operating in a very busy afternoon during my drop off, the staff exercised patience and interacted in a cal, collected manner. The wait at this location is much too long to pick up trucks and drop off keys. Putting more staff at the register (besides only 1 on busy Saturdays) would help improve the wait times.
