When I returned the truck I have a bad experience with person who recive the truck he was very agresive because I out the truck on the wrong place he yelling on me and have very bad attitute, you need to retrain and give a better customer service advice to this young men. he was a young may be on the twenties. He need to be more kind with the customers.

There is no customer parking on site and thos location was very cramped as far as the amount of equipment kept on site. Therefore, I was extremely worried that I was going to run into another piece of equipment while driving in and out of the front and back parking lots. I used thos location about ten years ago, and it was not as cramped and nicer then. The guys who work there were helpful, though.

-The truck was very old and rattled a lot, but it did work fine! The pick up went very smootly. - I used the after-hours drop-off, and it was a little confusing. It said to drop both the keys and one copy of the paperwork. Well, I only had one copy, so I didn't leave it. Also, it seemed to expect me to go online right then to complete the drop-off; I couldn't do that. So I did it at home. It seemed to work OK, but I only knew that because I later got an email with the receipt. I think this procedure needs to be both simplified and more clearly explained to customers.

It was annoying that the tank was below 1/4 full when I picked it up but I returned it over 1/4. Ok, whatever, I take the loss. But then, I was charged extra for miles that they said was above the allocation even though I just went directly from point A to point B. You win--at least this time you made a few extra bucks--I'm less than satisfied. I was kind a loyal customer..next time I will shop around.

There was a large sticker in the top outside part of the windshield which blocked my view of the traffic lights, etc. I am 6'4" and the seat of the van did not go down so it was not possible to adjust my position to avoid the sticker from blocking my view. This is a dangerous hazard! Remove the large upper windshield stickers. Also the steering wheel would not tilt, but could only be adjusted up and down a very small amount. Since I am rather tall, I thus ended up crouched over the steering wheel since I had to reach so far forward to keep my hands on the wheel.

The experience, from reservation, to pickup and return, was awful. First, I reserved my equipment at another location where it was supposedly available, but was later called and said I had to pick it up elsewhere. Strike 1. Driving into the parking lot I was rushed by scary-looking men, non-employees, hoping to get money by offering to move my stuff. Strike 2. When I went inside, I waited for about 20 minutes in line while the two young ladies at the front desk were texting and talking, before saying "excuse me, can I get some help here?" and they stopped what they were doing and offered to help me. Strike 3. Then they said, "oh you have to get hooked up before we can begin the paperwork." Bizarre, but OK. Strike 4. I go outside, chase down a tech on his smoke break, told him to hook me up, and he said "no, you have to do the paperwork first." Strike 5. He escorts me back inside and tells his employees to do my paperwork first. At this point, 7 employees were standing behind the desks, apparently back from lunch breaks. The girl who told me to go outside says to her colleague, "why are you coming in here, stay outside motherf*cker," in a joking manner. He calls her a bitch and tells her to do her job. WHAT THE HELL? Strike 6. The whole crew is talking and laughing and I feel like I'm in the middle of some sort of frat/sorority party. The whole time I'm there I'm never greeted or thanked, everyone is talking with foul language, they're doing things other than work, and they just don't care at all. Finally they finish my paperwork, tell me to go outside, and look for the trailer with the ID number on it. "Just go find it myself?" "Yeah, feel free to hook it up. Find a tech out there if you need help." Strike 7. So I go out there, get hounded by the semi-homeless guys again looking for work, find the trailer, and flag down a tech to come help me. He doesn't look at my paperwork, just takes my word for it, and connects things and says to "enjoy". Strike 8. The trailer was perfectly fine. No problems. But when I return it later that evening, another tech tells me to pull forward, disconnects it, and says I should get an email receipt immediately. Days later the receipt still hasn't arrived. Strike 9. Long story short, this place should be shut down. Absolutely awful experience.

Whoever helped me in the location was unable to find my reservation. I provided all the necessary info after I booked this a week ago. He then told us it was at the Randolph road location (?!) so We left and went there. They had no clue. I called the phone number provided (after losing an hour of my time) and was told it was at the first place. Then was told that I was unable to pick up the truck because my mom (who's card I was using) wasn't there. She lives in North Carolina. The entire experience created way more trouble and stress than I needed for an already emotional and stressful day. I was extremely livid and disappointed at the lack of organization or willingness to help with even the basics of what the job function of uhaul is.

When I arrived at this location I was told that they sent me a text to tell me I was to go to silver spring location to pick up a car tow bar, I had to wind up paying more money to rent a car transporter , that was so much harder to load a dead car! Not happy!
