First off. The truck was fine. The job of moving was easy. As far as customer service. I submitted a express check in via online website. Believing it would save time at the check in process. Wrong. Once I enter the service room, the employee said she was going on her lunch break and that she just clocked out, while holding a paper that states the person will be back in a short moment. I shared with her i had a express check in reservation at noon. I was on time and she said she just clocked out. I expressed my confusion of the situation..Do I wait? Do I go somewhere else? What does express check in even mean when the employee just clocked out for lunch. She considered and clocked back in to finally help me get my truck that I reserved for 12pm. After 30mins since I entered the service room, I finally get the truck and start the job I had planned. At the end of the day, I was told I would get a receipt via email...All I have received is a Rate My Experience/Submit a Review link...Can I please get my reciept and breakdown of expense please??

Customers services were great and friendly upon check in and out. I'm glad to have a great staffs and wish others locations are the same too. Yes I would recommend to others to rent Uhaul at this locations. Again great job everyone!!!!!!

From beginning to end everything was horrible about this place. I had to drop off at a different location because of the available storage place. When I reserved the truck I was not informed of the hours of the location nor confirmed I had all the information including information I had for the storage. The reservation and payment was completed in my name as I was the one moving, but my brother was added as a driver. I was not returning to the place my belongings were being taken too. I looked up the hours on google to call and confirm I had a reservation for a storage unit and make sure we were allowed to stay there longer to unload my items. This is the practice at many other storage places and again wasn't informed about any rules or regulations. I was told by the lady who asked, Maria, that she tried to contact me earlier that day to inform me I had to be at the location by 3pm when the place closed st 5pm. I called at 3:02pm and was told that "I guess I would have to complete the process tomorrow or find another location". I asked Maria if she could wait 15 minutes and I would send my brother to fill out the paperwork and get the information for the unit. She said I had to be there and she couldn't change name on the reservation. Again, I stood back in San Diego to complete the rest of my moving paperwork Monday morning. I then had to readjust my whole schedule and drove back to LA. I was already in LA Thursday and Friday when I made the reservation and could have 1. Been informed of these rules and 2. Could have completed them in person that day. I could have ensured we made it at a certain time if we were told. I originally had had to ask if we can pick up the truck the day before since uhaul opened at 9am on Sunday. This is when I was informed that the location had lend the truck to someone else and it went available for an early pick up and it wouldn't be back on time for my pick up the following day which led me to pick up the truck at the other location. Maria was not helpful or informative at all. When I asked if she left a voicemail with said information and she responded no. A voicemail would have gone a long way for a missed call or unknown number. I then had to miss work the following day to drive to LA and now take care of this issue. My brothers were no longer able to help me and helped me doce the truck to this location at 5am and I stood outside until they opened at 7am. The person arrived a few minutes and was in a bad mood. She although was trying to helpful granted I was already irritated with this place and huge inconvenience it put me through. She overall was ok, and tried to be helpful. I picked up the business card for Maria who is one of the general managers and lives on site. In terms of customer service, she could have waited 15min or allowed up to get there before 5pm because her lack of communication.

Nothing at all! I have no complaints whatsoever about this location! The employee who helped me was named Dory (I didn't get a last name unfortunately) and she was the most patient and kindest employee I have seen in recent times - from anywhere! I was renting the biggest truck available and was very nervous because I had never driven anything bigger than a car before; when I mentioned it to Dory, she took a great deal of her time giving me advice, going over the details of the truck, and just generally making sure I was comfortable before going on the road. Because of her, I was a lot more confident behind the wheel and she made the entire process of me renting a truck so much easier! Thank you Dory, and thank you U-Haul for the great experience!

There was a long wait to pick up due to the customers before me, but that is no fault of the staff. Perhaps having another person available to check out the equipment would help.

The front desk staff was kind of in a hurry to leave (I arrived at 7:30 PM on Friday). I was asked to park my truck (with my car attached to the towing dolly) in the street and I had technical issues in doing the maneuver from the parking lot. The lady was trying to help me but lack expertise and in the end, it incurred damage to my car and the dolly. I have not receive any call so far for the damage repair, even though I had my insurance with Uhaul. The staff was less inpatient with me once she realized about the damage to my car and the dolly.
