I am sick and tired of your automated system. I as the customer should be able to choose the pickup and drop off locations for MY convenience - not yours. Having to drive to a alternate location, especially after a long trip, is insane. I do not care if your company needs to balance equipment. As my kids would say - that's a you problem. And to make matters worse, you have the nerve to charge me a penalty fee because I refused to drive over 2 hours away round trip to your selected drop off location? That's BS!!!! I have multiple Uhaul locations 5 minutes from my home. You need to flush the automated system!!! You need to allow an option during booking a rental that clearly allows for "do not change" locations and an offer to incentivize automated selection. That way if a customer doesn't mind some inconvenience over $ they can let the system make choices. For the rest of us, when I make a reservation - LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!!
