I had a great experience with renting a trailer. The parking lot is very crowded though and hard to move around. If you pull up to the customer, and someone is returning a truck you can't pull out back without going on to the ?road and using the other driveway

Pulled up to the designated return area and sat in the car with our trailer still attached since there were multiple signs that said, "please stay with your equipment during business hours. We will be out to help." There was a UHAUL truck parked in front of us. We assumed the staff was doing a return for someone else. We waited for over 15 minutes. Finally my husband decided to go inside since we hadn't seen anyone. Three or four female staff members were standing around talking, not paying any attention to their return area. My husband said they were very nice so we weren't upset at this point. The woman who "helped" us told us to pull around to the back of the building then asked us to back our UHAUL trailer into a small parking spot between two other large pieces of equipment. If we had to rent a trailer from you, you should assume that we don't own one and aren't completely comfortable backing it in without being able to see where we're going... especially into a space so small I wouldn't even park my car there. Her customer service skills were poor (and that's being nice). Terrible experience compared to the many others we've had with your company.

My experience with the employees was very good, it was overall a very good experience. One of the lower rails on the right side of the back of the truck was unattached and hard to strap things to. We strapped it to the upper one instead. Other than that it was clean, comfortable, and ran well.

I'm pleased and satisfied with my UHaul experience. Thank you.

I used a car dolly to pick up my Honda on a Sunday afternoon. The staff are friendly and polite. I was in and out they hitched it up to make sure everything worked properly so I wouldn't run into any issues. I dropped it off in the drop off port and that was that not to bad

Efficient, helpful, and done in minutes--at the price stated with no complications.

The service was great and and the two was kind and timely efficient. However I had rented a car trailer and the rep didn't tighten the hitch receiver to the ball on my truck and when I loaded a car on it the trailer came off my truck luckily no damage was done to my truck car or trailer. I happiest it didn't come off in traffic and cause what could have been very serious problems

Although they got my reservation mixed up on days, they accommodated and everything worked great. Nice truck..

Everything was fine at this location. Professional, quick, and satisfying.

My drop off day was Sunday and the Uhaul location drop off was closed so I had no interaction with anyone.

having just one person at the helm in Rutland Uhaul tells me they're not very reputible. The woman who waited on me was very knowledgeable and very helpful. She's very pleasant to do business with but if she had help I wouldn't have waited 30 minutes before she could wait on me. I give the woman who waited on me a 10 star rating 10 being the best.....she deserves a huge raise....Rutland Uhaul itself however is way below that....I give Rutland Uhaul a 3 star rating the facility itself needs a huge improvement.....

Everyone that we dealt with at U-haul were both friendly and helpful.

Everything was fantastic. As an unexpected bonus, I did not have to return the truck for 2 days--what a great relief from pressure. You may consider mentioning that during the online booking process. You may get more sales that way. It was a wonderful help. Thank you.

two staff on site. The one who was at the counter could not accept return of the vehicle and said the other person was elsewhere helping someone else - no estimate of time. I waited a full half hour before that person came out and then another staffer showed up. I was 2nd in line. The staffer who showed up then went and helped someone who had just arrived before helping me. No apologies at any time. I will avoid this place at all costs in the future.

Person checking out the equipment had the absolute worst attitude from the moment we walked up to the counter @ 9:15 am, argued with us every step of the way and stated multiple times that corporate problems are not her fault.

Although original reservation was quoted at about $27 including insurance, clerk attempted to charge me $120 and change. When I explained that was not the agreement, she recalculated and came up with about $31 which I paid because the transaction had already taken more than 20 minutes. Meanwhile, while she was serving me she put a caller on hold and left them unattended until they hung up, and another customer waiting behind me appeared to give up and leave. It was unnecessarily stressful.

Vehicle should be full of gas and customer should fill tank upon return. I had to guess how much gas I used because the tank was 3/4 when I took vehicle.

Honestly I'm not sure there's anything you can do. This location is the only one I've ever used, however, that being said, I've used it a lot. I'm fairly certain this location primarily employs individuals that hate life in general and certainly do not belong in customer care. I am done this time. I will never, EVER allow this company to treat me so disrespectfully again. The woman that helped me at pick up time was fabulous and I told her so. (Half joking said a little prayer with my daughter that I hoped the person helping me isn't "a tool!! Guess I should have prayed on my way back with the truck too) The foul individual that "took care of me" when I returned the vehicle however was miserable and said exactly this. "keys". Then when I was actually out of the truck said, "I've gotta charge you $5.00". I was shocked, "for what???" "It's dirty, I've gotta sweep it out". I said it's not dirty, we actually hosed it out to be sure it wasn't dirty. The nasty one replies, "well, I've gotta sweep it and wipe it down". Are you actually kidding me?????? So, to answer your question "what can we do to improve for the next customer"? 1) Hire those that want to work. 2) Demand excellent customer service. 3) Require your employees to be respectful at all times. 4). Give a raise to the woman that waited on me at pick up time and the gentleman working with her; they both exemplify how you SHOULD want an employee to conduct themselves. ***sidenote for anyone wanting to jump on me about this, yes I am also in customer service with a rather large company and I can tell you this behavior is unacceptable.... Well it should be anyway. Seems at U-Haul being rude and disrespectful is the norm.
