Dirty environment, unprofessional staff member, van was dirty and smelled bad. Clerk attempted to charge me for an extra day and when I informed him he was wrong he used profanity. Upon my return I wasn’t greeted but was told I would have an email within 20 minutes, didn’t happen. I called three times and was referred to main number and hen two UHaul representatives assisted me.

Like many Uhaul locations, this was a bit strange (a car audio shop). In fact, though the location is only a few blocks from my office I didn't even know that they were a Uhaul location until I looked it up online, since there is no indication from the street that there is a UHaul store located within. But once inside they were competent and quick, the truck was clean and in good condition, and they were very accommodating (offered to stay open late for my return the next day).

Helpful However - hated being on hold 30 minutes this am and I had to find convenient drop off - uhaul no help. Also misquoted. Not given fair student rate - or refund for lower mileage.

I don't understand the reason behind reserving a truck when the day of pickup no one has it available? I went through 4 locations before I found a location that had a truck.

I called the Uhaul number and made a reservation over the phone. They said someone should contact me in a couple of hours. I couldn’t wait a couple of hours, so I went to the store I thought I thought was closest to me. I waited in line. When I got to the front, they told me my reservation was at the arden location. I asked for the address and they told me it was right off the freeway. I followed directions. When I got to the Arden location, I was told there was a different Arden location. She gave me an address. It was hard to find. There was no sign from the street. When I got there, there was just one truck. The person showing it was not very helpful. I called and asked about keeping the truck for an extra day. He said no problem. It would be just the extra daily fee and the insurance. Then I got a call saying the truck was due back by 1030. I could keep it later, but I would have to pay a $50 bump fee. I explained the situation and she talked to her manager and the fee was waived. The next time I need a truck, I will be more specific about where I want to rent it from.

A very poor mannagment

We rented a 10 foot truck to move. We live less than 2 miles from the rental location. The truck gas gauge indicated the tank was empty. After loading the truck, I attempted to put gas in the tank and there was a major gasoline leak near the fillpipe. The gasoline poured out and I was unable to put gas in the tank. I immediately returned the truck, I drove less than 5 miles total. I informed the rental business of what had occured. I was told to call Uhaul and have the charges to my credit card reversed. I did call and the charges have not been credited back to my account.

Its a difficult location to find because there is no sign easily visible from Arden way.

I don't understand why would would tell me one price, then charge me DOUBLE of what I already paid. The miles were calculated before I made the trip, and I put more than enough gas in the tank. I think you guys are scamming me hard to get more money out of me and it needs to stop immediately. I paid what was required in order to use said vehicle, so there should be nothing more that I owe.

Trucks for dirty miscommunication where I'm supposed to take the truck so is very bad so the next time when you tell somebody you need to be very very clear with your customers and not only that give the right paperwork to the customer's cuz you had no paperwork when you rent in V the truck that was poor customer service I knew where not did not know where to take this truck at.
