Took a while to get trailer,they didn't kniw what was on lot then the computer system froze in the Middle of paper work,won't use this location again.

The truck was not maintenanced prior to me getting it. The ashtray had cigarette ashes, the windshield wiper blades were in such poor condition they were unusable, and the fluids for the windshield cleaner was totally empty. If it has rained I would had been in serious trouble.

Had to wait approximately 10 min for a Rep to come to the rental desk and then only after I went and got him. Other people were waiting also. When I returned the truck, tried to charge me for the dolly even though I did not ask for one nor did I use it. The green tag was broken during moving and I was not asked if I used it or not. I was given a refund after pointing this out.

Not allow smoking in the Uhaul. Ares smelled like smoke. The seatbelts needed wiped off also. Other then that it was a great experience.

I put in preferences to pick up in nitro wv and drop off in Elkview WV. It kicked it to the Saint Albans location which was fine but when I went to drop off the U-Haul in Elkview it said I had to take it all the way back to Saint Albans. Never did it inform me of that through the booking process. Will look for other rental companies in the future!

There were very minor things, mostly about the van. The passenger-side blinker/parking light assembly came off at some point early in the trip, but it easily clipped back on. there might be missing screws coming in from the back of the assembly. The knob on the driver-side window came off when I tried to roll it up or down. The light in the cargo area was missing. Fortunately, I was working in daylight. The Bluetooth device to one of the tires was either bad or missing, sending an error message to the display that the tire monitor system needed checked. I pushed the check button, but that didn't correct it. The vehicle still ran well, and a quick walk-around assured me that all tires had plenty of air in them.

When you make reservations for one location make sure they have the vehicle there and not call you day before to send you to a different location out of your way, but they did accommodate us with extra miles

Make sure the tires and other equipment is in good working order. I spent 20 minuets of the rental time putting air in the tires as, the tire gauge sensor was not working well also. The sales associate did give me some extra time on the rental, and I was grateful for that.

On drop off location they need put physical address. Mine just gave phone number and location. Since didn't give physical address I went over mileage and was late on drop off time

I just rented an appliance dolly. I picked up the dolly on Thursday around noon 7/19/2018 and told the employee writing up the rental that I would return it sometime Tuesday 7/24/18 around 6PM. I told the employee arranging the rental that I would B returning the dolly possibly late that following Monday 7/23/18, most likely the next day before closing because of work hours. I ask wether I would B charged for that Tuesday if I could not get it back till 5-6 PM. I was told that I would not B charged for the day of return. I initially rented it For 5 days Thursday 7/19/18 thru Monday 7/23/18. However the debit card that I used was charged an additional day rental ( $10) for the Tuesday 7/24/18, a total of 6 days when I contracted for a 5 day rental and was told that I would not B charged for that Tuesday as long as I brought it back before closing ( 7 PM). So I am respectfully requesting that the additional day charge be credited back to the debit card on record. Thank You. Francis Hunter

I'm satisfied with the people at both local locations but I'm very dissatisfied with UHAUL as a hole because when I was unable to return to the pick up because I'm disabled and the driving weekend me to the point I could no longer drive because my muscles were so fatigued they were shaking. I was charged $271 to drop off at the location nearest me.

I reserved a 15' truck on June 6 for a July 1 move. I received an email confirming the 15' truck on June 6. On June 30, I received a phone call stating that I would have to take a 20' truck because no 15' trucks were available. When I arrived the next day to pick up the truck, the lot was full of 15' trucks. The gentleman in line in front of me was picking up a 15' truck that he reserved the day before. I reserved my 15' truck almost a month in advance. I believe that I was forced to take a 20' truck because someone at my drop off location was needing a 20' truck. I had to take a larger truck than what I needed and had to pay for gas for a larger truck than what I needed. This is not a good or professional business practice. It costs me extra money to drive a 20' truck when I only needed a 15' truck. I am very disappointed in Uhaul and I will be sharing my experience on various online review sites.
