Your self check in service needs to be discontinued until you work out your technological "gliches". I was lucky that I tried to use it during business hours and was able to rent a U-Haul inside. Your computer system didn't recognize my location so it wouldn't go any further. The problem was on your end because my location services were on and I was using safari. It's too inconsistent to have rolled out the public. Shame on you.

Bad experience. Was suppose to pick up at another location that is only 2 miles from my house. I got a phone call confirming time and pick up. went to location at the right time and trailer was not there and the place was not even open. I called the phone # on my order and talked with the rudest lady I have ever talked to. Was told that she had called me that morning saying my reservation was changed, LIE ,I never received a call. I had to drive a 60 mile round trip to get the trailer an hour and a half of time I could have been moving. Pretty BAD business. If needed again I will use a different company.

UHaul called the day before I was scheduled to pick up the truck and auto transport and said I had to pick up the truck at a different location and pick up the auto transport at the location I originally booked. I asked if someone could get the truck and bring it to the other location, like I initially requested when I booked the truck and they said no, they didn't have staff like that (even though they assured me it was only six miles down the road). The location of the truck was awful. The man that waited on us hardly said two words to us, pointed to the truck (there were about five lined up), and said he would get our appliance dolly. We waited outside for about ten minutes for the dolly and when we went inside, he was just joking around with coworkers. Finally, after about another ten minutes, someone else went and got the dolly for us. The rest of the staff at this location was friendly, unfortunately the person who waited on us was not. The location I originally booked was very nice and helpful. They gave us a lock to use so we didn't have to purchase one for a one-time use. They went over all the paperwork and were very friendly. Bottom line, if I would have known I was going to have to pick up my truck and auto transport separately I would have went with a different company.

I used the self service check in and was disappointed. It was supposed to take less time than waiting in line and checking in in person, but it didn't. Just to verify my identity took nearly 20 minutes. This is a new feature so hopefully it will get better.

I was mislead on what I was going to be charged for this rental. I have called U-Haul about this issue on more than one occasion and they don't seem to be interested in resolving this issue. The general manager of this location still hasn't tried to contact me. BAD SERVICE!!!

I was asked to call back to pay the rest of the bill. I called back multiple times but was always forwarded to Customer Care that could not help. Now bill has been sent to collections, all because the phone number was forwarded to customer care.

I received a call the night before I was scheduled to pick up our truck. The person on the call told me that I had to go to Saint Albans, WV instead of Ashlland, KY to get the truck. Ashland was 30 minutes away from where we lived and Saint Albans was an hour and 15 minutes away. Although, I was given extra miles, it still cost me in loss time that I needed for packing and extra miles on my personal car. I have had good service with Uhaul in the past. However, driving over an hour away to get a truck was too long. I think there should be a limit on how far a customer should have to go to get a truck.

They gave me a different truck than the one listed on my rental contract. This resulted in me not being able to complete the online vehicle return procedure. I had to make two additional phone calls to customer service to get it resolved.

The check-in process was not done very well. I checked in online before I went and had to answer all the questions again. My uhaul was parked on the opposite side of the lot from the office and no offer was made to being it around for me. The check-in guy was not friendly. He just said it's one of those over there just look for the number. This was not what unexpected from uhaul.

I specifically asked the lady who took my reservation for a truck with a ramp.She assured me the truck I reserved had one.I went down to pick it up and was told the truck I reserved didn't have one.

Customer service at this location is very confusing and rude!! Scheduled a truck rental at this location weeks in advance and I clearly was told the truck could be returned at another location less then 5min from our move. HOWEVER, the evening before our pickup date with only less then a couple of hours left until the stores closing I received a phone call/message stating that UNFORTUNATELY I had to return the truck to the pickup location, and again what the cost would be per mile!!? This was NOT what I was told WEEKS ahead upon scheduling my reservation, and purchasing over $130. in moving supplies!! The key word used here is UNFORTUNATELY!! Which is admitting they had screwed me but weren't willing to make good on their mistake!! I requested they check some other locations closer to our destination but guess what, said they had no other trucks available at any of their surrounding locations for that weekend??? UNFORTUNATELY...I had to end up paying for someone else's lazy, uninformed, or just simply not giving a crap work ethic because they weren't paying attitude!! Then I had to end up paying the extra mileage that would have been a lot less because THEY were unable to do anything as we already had scheduled off from our jobs for the move WEEKS in advance!! Thanks U-Haul. Money NOT well spent!!

When setting up rental, don't tell customer you pay for two days and if not needed you get one day refunded at drop off when if fact drop off point will not give refund.
