To avoid an accident, I moved to close to the curb, blew a tire. I was expecting a large bill, the agent said the total bill would be $192.00 which I thought was great and that included the blown tire. He said that UHaul does not use the MSRP price on the tire, but rather the actual cost. Such a relief! I guess I should have bought the Plus version of insurance. A couple suggestions, from the agent's point of view, it would seem that the APP for sending the claim info should be more integrated with the smartphone app. The app should prompt the user to take a picture, then continue on with the app. Most people are not technical as a rule, keeping it simple provides helps all. The other suggestion should be changing the plus coverage to be on top and recommended, especially for 1-2 day rentals. The cost difference versus the coverage means a much better result.Then if the individual wants the lower cost insurance, then you can ask what protection level they want and the cost thereof.

The manager at the pick up location was rude and did not want to honor the quote that was given to us by the call center. We had to remind him of the price several times and who we talked to before he would honor it. He also had a rude tone and acted like the quote wasn't true until we gave him the contact info and who we had spoken with....very unprofessional.

The location was fine and the agent who assisted us was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful, but the line was very long, moving slowly, and it took us over an hour from the time we arrived until we actually had our equipment and left the truck. This was very frustrating, especially since we had already lost over 2 hours of moving time because the truck we needed wasn't available at the requested location and we weren't notified of this until the night before the move, so there wasn't time to rearrange our moving schedule to make up for the lost time. The on-line registration process should notify customers if the equipment they request is not, or will not be, available at the requested location/time when the reservation is made, not several days later.

Management and customer service were extremely friendly, especially the gentleman who processed my payment. HOWEVER - the $10 package (blankets/dolly) sealed and located at the back of the truck made 2-3 ft of the truck virtually useless when loading up dressers, beds, couches, etc. We had it planned out to utilize the full cubic capacity of the truck but this caused us an extra trip and more time wasted. I normally don't complain but this one is blatantly a 'money grab' on a truck of that size.

While not as warm as other employees of uhaul ive dealt with, he was thorough and helpfull as good be desired and that was in a its own way pleasnt at the end of a solo move.

The uhaul they gave me a had a water leak on the top shelf up against the drivers. The company had to know about it because after we loaded boxes and then went to unload them half of them were wet. I told the employee upon checking in and he acted like he knew nothing about it and didn't even apologize for so many boxes getting wet from the water rolling down off the top storage shelf. I was not offered a discount which I though was the least they could do. I treated the vehicle great and even put at least 15$ more in gas than it needed. The location was fine but I have been in business for years and just blowing it off to make money really disappointed me. I will not use a uhaul that has close to 100,000 miles again and would appreciate a heads up when employees are aware of a problem which some of them had to be because u could tell where they tried to seal it. Bad business but not even offering me a discount for the boxes that got so wet we had to take each item in those boxes one by one. A total of 5 boxes got soaking wet.

I am Peggy Borth, the lady who rented the truck. I am very upset with the customer service. I stopped by Firday to make sure everything was in order for my movers to pick up the truck on Saturday. When they arrived Saturday they were given a difficult time by an employee because the truck was not in their name. Your employee delayed my movers one hour which cost me $75.00 more than I should have had to pay for moving that day. I think Uhaul owes me $75.00 because this employee did not know what he was doing.

The truck reeked. It smelled so bad my wife refused to ride in it. Someone vaped or something in it. It was horrible. The staff was very nice. I met the owner who gave me quality service. The only reason I rated it average was because the truck smelled so bad.

There was just one man working and he was very frustrated After I paid him I put my pocketbook in the car and hit my key fob and locked my dog in the car. He could have cared less. I had to fight him to get to use his phone to call 911. Then when they didn't come, I went back in crying to use his phone again. Same fight. Then 911 informs me that they do not do locked in animals. To call fire department or lock smith. I am crying so hard d by this time, I told the 911 operator don't you hang up on me. The man at Uhaul will not help me give me some phone numbers. A blue truck pulled up and I saw the Uhaul Man lock his door. Thanks a lot Uhaul.

Guy at pickup was a jerk. Rude and not very personable. Didn't listen and seemed more preoccupied with me lying about my contact info than renting me a truck. Guy at drop off was super nice. Quick and efficient. Will only rent there if I absolutely have to from now on. Will drive past this location to go to another Uhaul location.
