The location was good. My reservation was not ready at 9:00am. I wasn’t able to leave with a truck until. Early 9:45, cutting into my paid rental time. I had to change my plans for day, and make other arrangements to complete my move. This was all after a terrible experience finding an available truck and getting the runaround from two other stores.

The St. Louis location is great. However we are from saint Louis and St. Louis has a different type of market so we knew the service would be fine. Because the Wilmington DE location was so terrible , we will not use the service ever again.

Although I had already used Express Check-In and paid in advance in full with my credit card, the woman at the desk tried to tell me that was the down payment and I owed another $269. She was no help at all, but Mark was able to get the situation corrected and he assisted in hooking up the trailer correctly. Was this a location failure, web site failure--I don't know, but if it weren't for my cell phone showing my payment, I think that the female employee would have been charging me triple for the rental.

Total overall experience with the difficulties of truck and being placed on hold for hours at a time trying to file a complaint, and still not being able to speak to an actual representative. I plan on stopping my payment with credit card. Due to all of the difficulties encountered on this trip. I have had good experiences with uhaul but this was on of the worst. I don't know whos fault it is for the actual truck maintenance problems but I feel I should have a full refund. I had a question regarding the contract. When the agent at the St. Louis location could not answer the question he gave me the corporate U-Haul Number. After calling them they were able to help me out. *** Question for corporate U-Haul...Do you have any one-way rentals for less than 3 days? I used the truck for less than 12 hours and paid for a 3-day truck rental!!!!*****

I called ahead of time to be sure my reservation was accurate and my vehicle would be ready. When I arrived, there was one person working(on a Saturday!!!). She was nice, but clearly needed help. She was greeting customers, doing paperwork, and going to get vehicles. I waited 15 minutes before someone else finally came in to help. By then there were 7 of us in line. The guy who helped me then rushed through the process, so.much so that he didn't notice that the dolly I asked for wasn't on my order. As a first time renter, I trusted he knew all the checks. So I was very frustrated when I arrived at my destination to start moving, I didn't have a dolly. It was about 96degrees and I add to work extra hard and long because of this oversight. On top of that, the truck I was given, couldn't go over 50mph without making a horrible noise and shaking very badly. So I had to drive 50mph on the highway and have people honking their horns and making obscene gestures toward me. I told the guy about the poor driving vehicle upon my return and he just nodded his head without saying a word. I like that U-Haul is very easy to rent from, but the vehicles seem in poor condition and the staffing was poor for a busy moving day-Saturday!!

It was difficult to find, but both staff members were extremely accomodating. Do NOT use Mass Movers anymore. They were nice guys, but I drove six hours and they were sluggish when moving my possessions into storage and they brought their kids with them. I was hesitant to submit their payment because it took longer than necessary and their kids were dragging my belongings across the ground. It was unprofessional. But the location was the saver - great staff and made my moving process easier when getting my storage unit.

Moving is an extremely stressful and busy time... changing a pick up location is a huge deal, as I’m sure most people, like myself, chose their pick up location based on distance and timing from their start and end locations. My last email from Uhaul listed a totally different location than where Uhaul changed my reservation to... therefore I was Late to pick up and moving. The next “closest location” was close in miles but not AT ALL in time... while Uhaul did arrange for a closer pick up location, we did have to get a smaller truck, which meant two trips instead of one. I really think reservation pick up locations need to be manually confirmed before changed, to prevent confusion and so an undesirable location is not automatically chosen. I would Have never chosen the location that was auto picked for us. However, Uhaul if downtown owner had ya taken care of immediately and quickly to get our move back on track. We really appreciated his great customer service.
