Originally they said I had to pay over one hundred dollars to drop a trailer (after my pick up location said I could drop the trailer anywhere in St. Louis, MO, my destination city. After wrangling they took the trailer. Nice location, uhaul needs to get its business together and provide a consistent and efficient process, very poor process and I will be searching for other providers than uhaul in the future.



I felt the entire rental was handled with professionalism and terrific customer service. Everyone at this location was friendly and efficient. Well done.

After being checked out. I received a call wanting to know when I was bringing truck back. I decided and discussed this with the person that checked me out and gave me the van. The call I received was very early in morning after being up late packing moving boxes not only waking me up but waking up my babies that didn't go back to sleep. I wouldn't be mad if this wasn't discussed with who checked me out but it was. I was aware that van was expected back for a reservation on Thursday and it was back. I should not have received a call and if a call was felt to be necessary it should of not been first thing in morning. Common sense tells you that if a truck is picked up close to closing time it will probably be used at night and renter will be moving late not early so calling first thing in morning before babies wake up probably isn't a good idea. I almost brought truck right back your store and am thinking about canceling my reservation for a larger box truck in a few days. I bet Penske rates are just as comparable and will get all details and notate them in file so renter doesn't need to be disturbed for something that isn't an issue I should not of been called until there was an issue or until right before and she was going to occur notate them in file so renter doesn't need to be disturbed for something that isn't an issue I should not of been called until there was an issue or until right before an issue was going to occur.

Truck was new, so was clean. However, I ran out of windshield wiper fluid a few miles down the road. Therefore, I would not say that it was well maintained. Additionally, I "pre-ordered" some packing supplies on your website and the pick-up location had no record of my supply order. I had to sit down and calculate my box needs again. After I did that the rep suggested that I buy a small packing kit, which I did. However, when I opened it up at the apartment it was missing several items - there was no packing tape, no tape dispenser, no box cutter and no marking pen.

More about UHaul corporate than turn in location. After being phoned by U-Haul while enroute about where and when I would be turning in my 10' truck and agreeing to turn it in early. I was billed for being 11 miles over the contract. Next time I will keep the vehicle for entire contract term!

The one way mileage was the only prob. Sweet Kathy added 20 miles, but they only gave 30. It's 10 mi to their apt so roundtrip that wasted 20. Needed some for just moving. But both helpers were wonderful.
