The truck had many many dings and scratches that were marked with you guys knowing about them and some that where not marked hoping I didn’t miss any for photos / documenttation.... this truck may need some TLC it was a little rough BEFORE we got it. The lock box was also frozen shut but we were able to get it after a couple tries.

Trailer did not have all of the equipment necessary to be able to hook it up to the car. We were provided with no help in trying to hook up the trailer (didn't not know that it was missing the parts to hook up the lights on the trailer to the car) until after we managed to hook it up to the car ourselves (the person at the gas station spent the entire time doing other things and did not offer any help until after we had attempted ourselves with having no idea if we were doing it correctly and did say yes when asked if we needed help). We then had to take the trailer off and go to a different location that had a trailer that actually had everything that was needed. Overall the Simko BP was the worst u haul location I have ever been too (had rented u haul trailers multiple times and have been to multiple locations in at least 5 different cities) and I would under no circumstances go back to this location. Equipment was not ready even though had been booked several days in advance and we received a confirmation call the day before saying it was ready and then the only employee at the location (a gas station) started to check us out and then went and helped many other people while we just stood there and then offered no help in trying to get the trailer hooked up before we knew that it did not have all of the equient.

I was upset because this was not the place I set up to pick up from. I made the reservation 3 weeks in advance and two days before I'm supposed to pick up, Simko BP calls me to confirm my reservation. I'm greatful that Simko BP was able to do it but at the same time what is the point in making a reservation at one place if they aren't going to honor the reservation.

Showed up at 1245 to rent U-Haul guy wasn’t there.. messaged U-Haul and they said I selected picking up via mobile phone I didn’t.. I selected counter pick up then I had to call the U-Haul guy where it took him til 130 to show up and didn’t get my U-Haul til 145 I was 30 minutes late for job. I have used U-Hauls a lot and now I’m switching to a different truck rental company

This person was no help. He just pointed to where he wanted me to put the trsiler. He did not know what to do to lrt Uhaul know thst I turned in the trailer. I cslled Uhaul to let them know that I returned in the trailer They were supposed to call the location to verify that I returned the trailer

I won’t use a u-haul again. I couldn’t get a final total when I returned the truck. This is a very bad business practice

I have never seen a U-Haul location like this one. It was not a standalone building but was located within a gas station. The U-Haul representative who rented me the truck did not have a shirt or tag or anything to identify him as a U-Haul employee. His English and communication skills left much to be desired. There was no place for me to actually sign the contract; I had to move boxes of candy aside in order to have flat surface to sign. Most important of all, the rep failed to explain that he was renting me a DEFECTIVE truck (i.e., the top front corner of the truck was damaged resulting in a leaky roof), nor did he explain that he had written on the back of the contract that the truck might leak and I was responsible for any water damage. I should note that the damage was not readily visible, either from the outside or the inside. I did take the time to look at the truck both inside and out when I rented it. I would have NEVER left the facility with that truck if I had known it would leak. And leak it did. I drove for 17 hours from St. Louis to NJ, and 14 of them were in rain.

I returned truck early. He efficiently went through the check-in and I refueled truck at the station, saving time and mileage.
