The truck I reserved was not in the immediate lot; when I went to the other lot, the new truck's keys were in the office. Due to the trouble, I was promised a discount when I came back. However, they left the office early that day and I never received my discount. Frustrating.

I did not receive the 2 dollies i ordered upon pick up. i was told they did not have any to give me. I received a bunch of boxes i did not order and have nothing to do with them. I have used uhaul in the past and havent experienced any issues but this time it was a let down and made my move way more time consuming and taxing than i had hoped. Am i able to return these boxes? Was i charged for the boxes?

I was picking up my truck outside of business hours. It was never communicated that I needed to go to a different location to pick up the truck other than what was provided by the website, email and text reminders. I wasted about 45 min trying to find my truck. It was disappointing and set back the whole day.

The UHaul van smelled as if it had been used to transport farm animals. When I opened the back there were feathers and what was either dirt or animal feces. No attempt was made to clean this vehicle whatsoever. Additionally, the fact that UHaul vehicles do not keep track of mileage to a decimal point is the cheapest piece of corporate greed I've ever encountered. The odometer changed before I even left the parking lot and I was charged for 8 miles for a 7.1 mile trip. Never using UHaul again.

Couldn't get in. No one answered gate or phone. Finally got in and got the rental half hour late and was late for the pick up for which I rented the truck.

I waited 40 minutes for the worker to come back from lunch. My apointment was at 11:30 and I did not get the truck till 12:15. I scheduled for a dolly to be included but I was told they did not have one available. I felt like I should have received a big discount for this mishap but was offered none. not high on customer service in my opinion.

Check the gas gauges on your trucks. My truck was supposedly full but I paid $14 to fill the tank after driving a total of 30 miles. Also, the nearest gas station was two miles away in the midst of a construction project. I took 30 minutes to get gas.

The associate didn't even check the vehicle before I rented it. She didn't know thw truck was on the property. She didn't know what kind of condition it was in or anything. I see she added on 13.00 for gas. I drove 17 miles and I put 10.00 woth of gas in this truck and that wasn't enough? Really now? I couldn't get a printed receipt because her computer was down. She has to use her phone to check me in. I nevwr recieved a receipt until now. That is great customer service!!Your company is a rip off. I usually use budget and I now regret it. I will never use uhaul again. This is why you will never have more than your fair share of this market. I will definitely tell everyone I know to never use uhaul!!!

I had made two separate reservations online for a cargo van. I was originally told I would receive a phone call with a location of where the van could be picked up. This was on 7/7 and I was to get a call by 8pm. I did not receive the call so I called customer service. I talked with Lisa and she tried to solve the problem. They wanted to give me a van on Nicollet Avenue which would have taken me 30 - 40 miles out of my way. I went online and found a cargo van at the 3800 Louisiana location and booked it online. It said there was a $50 guarantee. (which I expect to be honored in this situation) Lisa confirmed the order went in and I received a confirmation. I was to pick it up at 2pm on Sunday. Sunday as I was driving to the location to pick up the cargo van I received a text at 1:50pm telling me to go to the location on Nicollet Avenue again. I called customer service and the gentleman on the phone had no suggestions on how to fix this and told me this was the best he could do. I let him know I thought the service was "piss, piss, piss pour". First not to get a call back about a time and location and then to have my reservation changed is inexcusable. I continued on to the 3800 Louisiana location , U- Save Storage, and talked with Jessica White. I explained to her what I had been through and without missing a beat, she asked if I would consider a 10 foot truck as well. The mileage would be a little more but I use that one if I was comfortable with that. I as so appreciative of her quick thinking and flexibility. She could see I needed to solve a problem, heard what I had been through and then acted with professionalism, kindness and care. When we tried to get this reservation in the system, the U-Haul system was down and she used all the tools in her power to continue to assist me as quickly and efficiently as possible. She was outstanding and really took charge. Without her, my U-Haul experience would have been a zero. Thanks Jessica, you are amazing!

I called the Plymouth location first and booked a flatbed truck over the phone (or so I was told). When I arrived at the St Louis Pk location to pick up, I was informed it was a large moving truck (enclosed). The woman at the front desk offered to rectify the problem by maintaining the rate I was promised over the phone. She was very kind throughout the process and turned a negative experience into a positive one.

The front desk didnt go around the truck with me, she was very much in a hurry, thought not rude it was clear I was not her priority, Told me the vehicle was on 'E' and when I returned it with gas in it, I was charged mileage and a fee for gas.
