The manager is money hungry and don't like to work, making excuses as to why he can't help. The information given from one staff is different from what the other staff says. I felt the women staff was nice the male manager is terrible trying to take advantage of people. I would not recommend because of him.

The pickup was very disorganized. The gentlemen in the office was very helpful but seemed to have been left a mess from the person before him. Key was not where it was supposed to be in the truck. Had to get assistance to find it. Was charged for petrol that I should not have been. Did take pictures of odometer and gas gauge at the start as I had a feeling this may happen. Please streamline the operation not a good experience at all. Will look elsewhere for my next truck rental.

Made a reservation for a truck days prior. Upon arrival Vehicle was not ready/ employee couldn’t find the key and was unsure if we would even get to use a truck. Asked us to go look in the truck for the keys and then also went and looked himself twice. 45 minutes later we had a truck but it was a terrible experience. Ramp on truck was broken and it had not been cleaned out from customers prior to us.

The pick up and drop off locations are different at this Uhaul location-- which no one informed me of, so I had to drive around and find the truck (which was about a block away in a random parking lot). I've had 3 Uhaul reservations since November 11th, 2017. The first, at the Martin Bell St. Louis Park location, we had reserved a truck for 9 am to begin our moving day promptly. We arrived at the store to find the worker waiting outside-- he had forgotten his keys so we all waited in the parking lot for about an hour before someone showed up. Incredibly frustrating to deal with that first thing on a big moving day. Our second rental was supposed to be on November 22nd at 6 am. Since the store doesn't open up that early, the employee at Martin Bell Rentals said to do the self check in option so we could pick up the truck without the store having to be open. When we arrived at Martin Bell Rentals on the 22nd, the keys weren't in the truck for us. We spent about an hour looking and had to leave the rental store because we had to go to work. I called the store when they opened and told them what happened and if I'd be getting a refund. The employee said he didn't know and told me to call the 1-800 number and have them deal with it. Strike 2 for Martin Bell Rentals. I called the 1-800 number, and the lady I was talking to said she would cancel the payment for the 22nd since we never got the truck, and would give me a $50 credit towards our new rental date on November 26th. Our rental on the 26th was at a different St. Louis Park location, but it took us a while to find the truck, as stated earlier. We've been having horrible luck with you guys. I called again today because my credit card statement shows that I've been billed for each rental and still haven't gotten a $50 credit. The lady on the phone today was very nice, but her system wasn't working properly so she couldn't administer my credit that hadn't gone through from the previous customer service rep. She told me to come to this site and submit a review and hopefully get this all sorted out. Thanks in advance for your help. Lindsay Kapus

The person working when I returned the van transposed the mileage and overcharged me $104.75. When I pointed this out she started yelling. She stormed out to the van. Returned to the office and slammed things around. She yelled at other customers, as well. She then charged me $56.64 AGAIN instead of putting through a credit for 56.64!!! She insisted she put through a credit for $104.76. According to my credit card company, she did not. I filed a dispute against the charges with my credit card company.



Thankful for this business, thank you for providing a business that comes in handy at such a urgent time for us and for not charging an arm and a leg. We will be renting a truck again in a few days. Thanks again!

Due to some system update my reservation (#20803773) that was completed well in advance didn't appear in the system nor did my quick check-in online day of appear. Thus I didn't save anytime and due to this the whole processs took more of my time. Additionally, I didn't receive any of the supplies I'd asked for (e.g. Moving blankets). The location was short staffed thankfully the one employee on duty was excellent at multitasking otherwise I would've had to wait in line more than 30mins.

I had a horrible rental experience at this location. Very hard to locate the facility and was overcharged for my rental. Still trying to contact the owner for a refund!! No one ever answers the phone.

Don't try to overcharge for gas. Picked up truck 3/4 full and dropped off 3/4 full. clerk claimed I picked up truck with gauge over 3/4 full and tried to charge extra $8+ yet I have a cell ph picture of gauge upon pick up with needle dead on 3/4 full--exactly where it was when I dropped off.



i had choose self pickup and later that day, I came to know the office address and parking address was different. It was close by and that wasn't a problem either I could have figure that out in 5 min if any staff was present there at the office. I reached there at around 12:10 and had to wait till 1pm before 2 staff come in.However, the staff were pretty helpful. I wasn't using an app and was using the self pickup for the first time. I didn't have a good experience with this location and self pickup service.

Uhaul never communicated to me my uhaul change locations. When I went to the new location my uhaul was parked around the corner and had to get back in my car for the third time. Moving is already stressful enough and uhaul made it even more stressful just to find my van to use!

The truck I reserved was not in the immediate lot; when I went to the other lot, the new truck's keys were in the office. Due to the trouble, I was promised a discount when I came back. However, they left the office early that day and I never received my discount. Frustrating.

I did not receive the 2 dollies i ordered upon pick up. i was told they did not have any to give me. I received a bunch of boxes i did not order and have nothing to do with them. I have used uhaul in the past and havent experienced any issues but this time it was a let down and made my move way more time consuming and taxing than i had hoped. Am i able to return these boxes? Was i charged for the boxes?
