Took almost 2 hours to check out the truck, between staff showing up late and then not knowing how to process the check out. Staff was yelling at each other and me during the process. Very unprofessional. Terrible experience. Due to the delay i had to recoordinate people helping with packing and interrupt multiple peoples weekend schedules due to the delay. I also would not have been able to check out with the app as the key was not returned to the Proper lock box after prior customer used the truck. I will look for other companies to help with truck rentals in the future.

The u-haul itself & customer service were all top notch. This location was lovely to work with. Highly recommend. However, the online check-in didn't work. The online reservations also got changed the day before, which was fine for me, but it just seems like you're better off doing everything in person or over the phone.

Horrible experience. Truck wasn't at location that was sent in email. When I was able to locate the truck in a totally separate lot and obtain lock box key, there was no key. What made this situation exponentially miserable was customer service experience. Since the wait to talk telephonically was over 20 min, I utilized chat feature. Replies to my messages took at minimum 5 minutes. It took over 45 minutes to pick up my truck, as I was waiting outside in the heat. I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue, but I will not be utilizing Uhaul for future rental. Moving is already stressful enough and the whole debacle with trying to get my identity verified, as well as extremely slow response times with customer services representatives only exacerbated it.

There was only 1 employee working on-site on the day (Saturday) that I needed to return my equipment. The employee did a great job and worked fast and efficient my rental return however it would have been smoother and quicker if she had at least 1 other employee to help process the U-Haul customers.

When I picked up the U-Haul it had a little over a quarter tank of gas. I ended up not putting gas in it myself because the needle hardly moved at all when I was ready to drop it off. I just think getting charged a $30 refueling fee plus the $29 of gas they put in the tank is unfair. In the contract you only have to have the needle where it was when you picked it up. If the tank is full when you pick it up, return it as such. That's on top of paying $170 the previous day for the rental which seems a bit steep. although convenient, I'll probably look for a more budget friendly option next time.

This was the first time I used online check in and while it involves taking several pictures it was relatively easy. It would be nice if Uhaul would change their rates to include half day rentals at a cheaper rate so when a customer has to extend rental for part of a day longer they don't have to pay a full day's rental fee.
