I made the reservation on the phone a week a few days ahead of pick up time for a location in Salem, OR. I received 5 email from 5 different Uhaul locations all stating my trailer was ready for pick up. They all stated different pick up times. The day of pick up, when I arrived at the location, they told me they didn't have a trailer and I would have to go to another location. I called Uhaul and they found the trailer I needed at another location in Salem. When I arrived I found the trailer did not have a matching electrical connection with my truck. When I arrived an hour later to pick the trailer up the same employee processed the paperwork and said I was 12 hours early as the reservation showed an 11pm pick up time when it should have been 11am, however he allowed me to get the trailer anyway. He asked me to back my truck up to the trailer, which I did, but then waited another 15 - 20 min for him to walk over to my truck. He apologized and said, "sorry, I totally spaced and forgot about you." I was the ONLY customer at the time. When I got home to load the trailer I had to broom it out as there was a fair amount of dirt/debris on the floor. When I returned the trailer, in The Dalles, OR the next day, which was 24hrs ahead of planned drop off time, I asked if there was any discount for returning the trailer a day early. They told me no. Overall, a very poor experience. I have rented equipment from Uhaul >10 times over the years, but will look elsewhere and recommend the same.
