I was told by a U-haul store that I could use your Cargo Van to go from Salem, to Grants Pass up to Gresham and ultimately return/drop the van off in gresham. The U-Haul store did not have a cargo van and sent me to one of your dealers (The above location). I ubered over to them and explained the situation, only to be told I had to actually return the Cargo Van to that particular dealer. This added roughly 60 miles to my trip that I was of course, charged for. The misinformation from the original U-Haul store is pretty frustrating, as I would have opted for the normal 10' Van/Truck. ..As a side note - the above location did not have 10' Van.

I will never recommend UHAUL to anyone period. You charged me and extra 4 miles because you did not honor the drop off site that I arranged so I have to drive further. Your overall customer helpfulness really needs work. This is my business Perhaps I can give you some training.

this place was excellent BUT we rent it for self pick up at west salem, they send me a code with 6 number and the lock to pick up the key had 4 number after one hour of waiting on the phone for your terrible bad costumer service, we went to this other location and they help us ou. NEVER WILL RENT SELF PICK UP AGAIN FROM YOU.

Other than some confusion and miscommunication regarding my drop off location, Dan was great. He went above and beyond what could be reasonably expected to get me on my way. My issues with this rental are more to do with U-Haul policies and new, “paperless” computer system that totally shut down the evening I was trying to return my truck.

We couldn’t return the vehicle to this location because it was closed. I dropped it at a West Salem location...then was charged $25. That’s fine, but not sure why I should be penalized for them being closed when the two locations are only a couple miles apart.

The two people that waited on us were exceptionally courteous. One saw us coming so came and held door open. They entered into conversation with us - not just get our info and send us on our way. Waiting on us both at pick up and return was instantaneous Thank you First Lube. My guess is that the same treatment will be given when you bring your personal vehicles there for lube and oil job.

This location did not do a clip board inspection of the vehicle with me but I was told they are new. I will never recommend nor use U-Haul again. I am extremely unhappy with customer service. I called to change my method of payment. After sitting in a parking lot on my phone for 45 minutes trying to make the change I was told U-Haul doesn't accept payments from my Chase Visa card. At that time I had a full load of hay, it started pouring down rain and soaked many of my bales of hay. I could potentially lose $200 of hay should it mold in the next few days. Samantha at 503-774-3203 should be very familiar with this situation. My reservation number was 20922713 under Brenda Fleming.
