I made a reservation online and you told me the equipment would be there along with a $50 guarantee. The equipment was not there but we did not have the choice to not move, I was forced to pick up a smaller truck and could not move my couch and several other items for lack of room and those items were lost. When I called in for the $50 guarantee I was told that it would not be honored because I changed my reservation, two full days before the move, and regardless of that you had plenty of notice and still guaranteed the equipment would be there. You really gave me the impression that you were weaseling out of your guarantee simply because you were able to. You cost me furniture, I am waiting for you to call back and make this right since you have offered no resolution to this situation. I will keep calling back and if you refuse to do anything I will be tell everybody I know not to use you because you cause Moving Day catastrophes and can't guarantee your equipment. I will also charge back this charge since you did not give me what I reserved and I was trick using a bait and switch to check out a truck that I did not want.

This location wants to busy running the gas station and pumps with no one to help with the U-HAUL. I was a inconvenience to them. This w as the 3rd location that I had to go to.

The car dolly that I was issued was defective. the right turning light was not working....no one checked before I left. Later I had to stop at a UHaul in Woodburn and it took two hours before I could leave again. I will be registering a formal complaint because that was not the only problem I had with my registration which had several blunders. Please let me know to what address I can send my complaint.

Even though I had ordered 92 blankets, an appliance dolly, and a truck, I was only able to get the truck at this location. This location didn't have any boxes either. As I drove off the lot I found that the muffler heat shield was broken. It was obvious that the Portland Rd location didn't have the ability to fix any problems. I took the truck to the Silverton Road U-Haul. They were able to fix the heat shield, get me moving blankets and an appliance dolly.

The online check in and out process is terrible it takes over 20 minuets for each. The app is slow and keeps getting stuck and making you redo things over and over again. The truck smelled like cigarette smoke. Was Parked in a very tight spot.

One staff working, running his tail off and didnt go thru any U-Haul inpection process, explanation, or advise us we would expect time sensitive emailed or SMS links. Nice guy, trying hard, running full bore. This station isnt repping U-Haul in a professinal manner

The trailer fish-tailed at 45 MPH and on. A trip that usually takes 7 hours took 11 hours. I pulled over at least 30 times to let others pass. It was a terrible trip!!

The pick up of equipment was excellent and the equipment itself was great. I wish I remembered names as the guy checking me out and the guy hooking up the trailer were both awesome. I checked out at 11am on a Saturday. If it all went good from here I would have given a top rating in my review. However, when I returned the equipment at 10:45 am the next morning I asked to be checked out because it was so close to the 24 hr mark. The attendant claimed to be too busy to check me out but he promised that he would put in the actual return time. Well, he lied to me. I got an email 3 hours later that said the trailer was returned at 1:35 pm and that I was being charged for a second day. After a long call to u-haul customer service where I was on hold for a half hour, I explained the situation. They tried to call the location and they did not answer. They escalated the claim and I'll see if I get refunded. While I might get reimbursed for the extra day charge that I didn't use, I won't get back my time being on hold. I would rent from uhaul again because the checkout experience was good as was the trailer. But do not let them delay your check in or you might be wrongfully charged for a second day.

Attendant noticed that the hitch ball was loose but did not try to tighten it. We tried but could not get it any tighter. Almost lost the trailer. They need to have the right equipment to handle this kind of situation. Are they not responsible to make sure of the safety of there equipment equipment and the customer.
