I picked up the trailer from your dealer, B Audio Sound, 6960 Bandera Rd. in San Antonio, TX on 9/14/2026. Trailer was not installed properly on to ball to my trailer hitch. As a result, half mile down the road the trailer came completely off my trailer hitch. Only 3 safety chains & trailer's hydraulic brake system kept it from flying off & hitting my vehicle or others on either side of me. Fortunately, I was approaching a traffic light at major intersection, so I was slowing down to 35-40 mph. I pulled around corner & pulled into nearby gas station. Because I consider the near mishap the dealer's fault, I called the dealer immediately to come reinstall the trailer. Dealer declined, & referred me to U-Haul roadside assistance. This deference totally peeved me considering that he was less than a minute down the road. Your roadside assist crew arrived quickly, promptly reconnected the trailer & disengaged the locked hydraulic brakes on the trailer. Thankfully, the brake on trailer engaged properly upon detachment, but the brake chain pulled on my hitch so powerfully that it caused considerable damage to my trailer hitch. Please know that I hold U-Haul responsible for this mishap, & expect U-Haul to replace the trailer hitch on my 2006 Lincoln Navigator. I'm certain that you have photo evidence from your roadside assistance crew, & I too have pix of the trailer hitch at the receiving dealer in Round Rock before your trailer was detached from my vehicle.
