I pulled into the location and went into the office. The woman behind the desk was put off and immediately told me to move, and I quote, “the f-in truck off her lot and find a parking spot on the street. This was a crowded area in downtown San Diego with difficult parking. She offered no assistance. I then asked that before I leave the lot, where did she want me to put the empty boxes, bubble wrap, blankets, and dolly I picked up in Albuquerque at the U-Haul location. She told me that I had to take all of it with me. I explained that this was not possible as I was flying home. She then said to leave the dolly and blankets but I would need to take the boxes. I left frustrated to look for parking. I left the dolly and blankets in the parked vehicle and carried the boxes to the dumpster on the property. When I returned the key, she yelled at me for putting the four boxes and bubble wrap in her dumpster, and told me to remove it. I refused as I was taking an uber to the airport. I just left the key and walked out. The U-Haul was great. The pickup location was friendly and professional. But you might want to re-evaluate who you all partner with in San Diego.

Drop off was easy and convenient. Agent took photo of condition, mileage and fuel level and took keys. Very nice interaction
ILYA TConfusing, no one at the desk when you arrive to give you the key …. And it’s a week later and they haven’t closed out my order with holds still on card and can’t get a final receipt. UHaul won’t help either just says I need to contact the location. Location won’t get back to me. Frustrating!

Joey UGood overall experience although the second of two attendants appeared content to let me wait behind a single, spread out and disorganized party of three who were there when I arrived. It would have been nice if she had taken the initiative to look up and wave me forward. Instead, a member of the waiting party signaled to me that they were part of the 3-member group and that I should go ahead.
