I reserved a cargo van 9 foot at a location a week in advance. I showed up after taking a Lyft to pick up the truck and that van was not available they didn't have my reservation. They had nothing for me to use so then I was sent to another location up the street where I had to take another Lyft. This location was completely unaware of my situation, even though the previous person had called someone I assume U-Haul, they transferred my reservation to a 10 foot truck because that's what was available and closest to the previous rental place. I showed up at the Shell station, which was just very confusing didn't know what was going on, I was given one truck which had a lock on it. I had to go back and get another, which thankful was available at that location. That truck was dirty and gas at 1/2. I left the truck in the condition found. The whole ordeal was very frustrating because I was on a time limit and I had a guaranteed parking spot for the cargo van. I felt like I got nowhere with U-Haul or your authorized dealers. I am moving plan to have another sale a few sales and I don't think I'll be using U-Haul again. My experience was really really poor. I understand it was a busy weekend in San Diego but my reservation should've been honored and I still ended up paying a ridiculous amount for my experience and as a customer, I was completely inconvenient.I'm really unhappy and and personally the $50 credit was not enough

This is a drop location only and not a U-Haul franchise or the equivalent. The drop off procedures were nonexistent and I had to confirm with the gas station attendant that I was in the right place. He was helpful. I was told to park on the neighboring street and drop the keys back with him. I took video and pictures of the vehicle and the parking location. Bad on me is that I turned in the keys when I tried the online drop off. I was not able to upload the videos and pictures that I took. I was only allowed to take a picture. Kinda cumbersome.
