Dolly was not added to the truck as ordered. Furniture pads was half a dozen instead of a dozen as ordered. Hard to get hold of the location via phone, always went to call center. Reported a lost item on Sunday and still have not heard back.

I'll never use U-haul again because of this poor experience. I do not blame the individuals at either pick up or drop off because it's not their fault. U-hail as a company has failed tremendously and cost me a lot more money.

While booking the truck, I was not shown the cleaning fee of 25$. When I dropped the truck off, I got charged for the cleaning fee without prior notice. This is not fair. And I returned the truck in the condition it was given to me.

Guys at counter checking me in were fast and easy to work with. Truck was pretty filthy, especially the windshield. That became a problem when I was driving north at sundown and could hardly see out because of the layers of grime on the windshield. NOTE: Booking my Uhaul and getting Uhaul to honor my reservation was a whooooole different story. They were AWFUL from day one. Spent at leeeeeast four hours total on hold, as I had to call back over and over because Uhaul kept changing my reservation without asking my permission. I'd just log in to check my reservation and the size of the truck and date of pick up would be changed!!! It was a stressful nightmare that I really didn't want to deal with. Moving is stressful enough as it is! I made a reservation for a certain sized truck on a certain date. I shouldn't have to keep checking it and keep calling to get it switched back.

Not charge them for fuel when they bring the equipment back when they brought it back with the same level as when they left.

The morning we were driving to the location to pick up a 6x12 trailer, we received a call that the trailer we had reserved was NOT available. This was devastating to our tightly choreographed plans of moving our daughter and using Moving Helpers at a particular time. However the gal on the phone worked calmly with me to work on a solution. She recommended several other locations but the distance/time would not work for us. We finally chose a 10' truck to replace the trailer from the original location. Trucks are more expensive because they charge mileage. With our $50 refund for the guarantee that your equipment will be available, it was going to be closer to the price we had expected to pay. The manager at the location also waived our mileage fees, to further reduce the price. We were able to pick up the truck at the time/location we expected to get the trailer and our plans the rest of the day were salvaged. We appreciate that UHaul worked with us to remedy the situation. We have rented from UHaul many, many times and we have never had the equipment not available. We were pleased that they would take care of us when the unexpected happened.

Don't have rentals that have 1/4 tank of gas and expect to be able to judge that amount upon return............if you had 1/2 tank left, too bad you just lost $$$$
