I was VERY disappointed that I was FORCED to drive to this location instead of the location I had arranged drop off because they were FULL. This was NOT convenient! This was NOT close to my home and I had to make arrangements to get a ride back instead of walking. The office is disgusting, old, tattered and dirty. I did not want to go inside. BUT Carlos was quick to assist me (outside!) even though he was on break. Thank you, young man.

The interior of the cab was clean, however the back of the truck was very dirty as was the entire outside of the vehicle. Also, the "online check in" system was terrible. Not user friendly and takes too long. In the end I got so frustrated that the clerk just checked me in and gave me the vehicle. He was a pleasant young man.

In my contract, my confirmed drop off location was Discount Box Galaxy, up the street. We finished with the truck around 5pm on Sunday and left it at the location. They didn't have a key drop off (very inconvenient) so I had to come back the next morning to ensure truck was marked returned. Upon arrival, they told me I could not return it there because they did not have room for it, even though it was in a spot and it was the CONFIRMED drop off location in my contract. They said I could drop it off at ABA Recovery Service and sent me on my way. The truck was boxed in and they didn't even offer to help me back it out of the spot. I went to ABA Recovery Service to see if they could help, since this was the day after my move and I was alone. They were very polite but said they needed the truck there and the best they could offer me was to leave me car and have me WALK back to other location to get it. Seriously? Next, I called U-haul customer service. After about 15 minutes on hold, I finally go through. A very sweet and polite woman was empathetic to my situation and put me on hold to see if the traffic team could help. After 30 more minutes on hold, she came back on the line and said she spoke to Discount Box Galaxy and there is nothing she could do. They simply would not accept it. She said she was very sorry but the only course of action was for me to return the truck somewhere else. After an hour and half of all this, I finally got in touch with someone that could help me maneuver out of the parking spot and pick me up at the other location. The entire process took over 2 hours. ABA Recovery Services felt bad and apologized and were great checking it in from there. They were just understaffed and sorry they could not help. From a customer service perspective, this is absolutely unacceptable. First the pick-up location was changed without warning, then the drop-off location was changed the next day. My contract said very specifically where to drop it off. I followed what was necessary of me. How can you have a location that refuses to accept trucks when I was told to go there, and then expect me to fix your issue? Make one of them take the truck somewhere else. How is there nothing you can do to help? You tell me you messed up and now I need to correct the issue and walk miles down the road to get back to my car? Isn't that what your employees are for? I can't believe nobody could help or even offered to make it easier on me. Everyone said it was out of their hands and it was on me to get it to a location I didn't want and wasn't on my order confirmation/contract. I wouldn't expect you to break to contract, so why would you expect me to? Simply unacceptable. I have only ever used U-haul but moving is stressful enough, I don't expect you to break the contract and change it TWICE, both times without notification, and then expect me to honor it and dump the responsibility on me with no assistance from YOUR OWN STAFF. Adding more lights at night. It was difficult to park at night. We dropped the truck off after closing and used the U-Haul to check out. The app was very difficult to use. It was not user friendly and could be greatly improved.
