I recently rented a U-Haul truck from California Auto Salon Suite A and had a mixed experience. Let me start with the positives: the customer service at this location was outstanding. The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient, making the check-in and check-out processes smooth and hassle-free. Their positive attitude and willingness to assist really stood out and made a significant difference. However, the truck itself was quite disappointing. The vehicle I was provided was notably old and in poor condition. The interior was dirty, with remnants of previous rentals and a general lack of cleanliness that was hard to overlook. On top of that, the truck's model was outdated, which affected its performance and made the drive less comfortable than I had hoped. While I appreciate the excellent customer service, the condition of the truck was a major letdown and detracted from the overall experience. I hope U-Haul addresses these issues to ensure future renters have a better experience.
