I thought it was bizarre that I wasn't allowed to park my car in the parking lot when picking up the uhaul. They told me to move it to the parking lot of the business next door.

I ordered online to save time. Ordered a 15’ truck and appliance dolley. I double checked the order before submitting. When I went to pick it up I was told about the dolley this truck has one. So I left with the truck. When I started to load I found the dolley was not an appliance dolley. So I had to go back to the store for the appliance dolly where I was told they didn’t have one. After a few minutes he managed to dig one up. This blew a bunch of the time I had and made me have to rush to get the job done. I only got one trip in when I should have been able to get two trips in. Making my project much more expensive.

Someone had smoked in the vehicle and the ash tray still had cigarette ashes. The contract said the tank was full, but after I got to my location I found that the tank was only 3/4 full. I filled the tank with $20 gas when I only drove 20 miles in the vehicle. I filled so I wouldn't be charged the UHaul rate.

Worst experience I've ever had the inside of the trailer was dirty it was missing tie downs then they charged me three times the amount they told me horrible experience stay away from this location

The customer service was terrible. My pick up was scheduled for 830am and no one was there when I arrived. The person who did show up did not even acknowledge me until 9 am. I stood in front of her with out any acknowledgement. She did not even say hello. Once she was willing to speak to me, she didn't know how to retrieve my reservation. Then she over charged me and was unwilling to even talk to me. She passed me off to someone else, and when I asked him to speak to the uhaul customer service agent I was on the phone with, he refused. I strongly recommend you cut ties with this establishment as their customer service is terrible.

I had to wait in a long line both to pick up the truck and to drop it off and this wasn't just due to the high volume of business. The attendants there did not pay attention to me as a customer. There were two attendants and even though one was supposed to be helping me, she was constantly looking over the shoulder of the other one and trying to insert herself into that process. This lead to her asking me the same questions multiple times and it taking much longer than it should have to get me on my way. I will not be using this location in the future.

The whole process of returning the auto carrier was problematic. The pickup was smooth as glass, and he was very helpful with all my needs. The operator whom I first spoke with asked me what I needed I told her I needed a car dolly. She asked me certain questions which I answered truthfully. When she asked me what kind of vehicle was being towed, I told her it was a 4X4 Nissan Pathfinder. Never did she clue me in that the car dollys could not tow a rear wheel drive vehicle. Only the place where I rented it told me a dolly couldn't tow a rear wheel drive car. When I contracted with U-Haul for a auto carrier, they asked me where I wanted to return it. I asked for South Jordan. The operator made the contract and I thought we were good. When I tried to return the auto carrier to the South Jordan U-Haul location, I was told that they did not accept them and told me to contact the 800 number. Frustrated, I did that, and waited 20-30 minutes for a live person to help me out. Who told me that I needed to return it to the Sandy Utah location. Had the first person told me that, I would have been ok, but I had wasted, WASTED, an hour chasing this info down. I was almost derailed again when I called the Sandy location and the phone call was redirected to the "one way rental" office and i waited another 10-15 minuets for that to be resolved. I got the auto trailer to the Sandy office and was good. Then Cliff called me on the 24th and was very apologetic and extended a refund. Had the first operator been forthright or even knowledgeable, or willing to ask someone else a question about where to return things, I would have been much happier. As a result, I will in the future be much more demanding of concrete answers should I ever need U-haul's services again. I hope you can use this episode as a training lesson for future operators.

Remove “Emission Time” as a Uhaul affiliate. Absolutely no customer service, help, or general knowledge about anything, let alone Uhaul. You are damaging your brand severely by even allowing them to place your logo on their excuse for a business. I will make it a top priority to make sure as many people as possible know this sentiment.

Emissions Time would not let me park my car there because it was for his "emissions" customers only. I will recommend another location or go to another UHaul place as I feel whether you are renting a UHaul from him or not, should be able to park there. Other than that, he was great to deal with.

Was first told they could not take autotransporter due to lack of space. Was told repeatedly that "he was not U-Haul and didn't have time for this" when I needed to file a damage report. Never finished report at drop-off, told that he needed to help other customers and didn't have time for me, told he would email me. Billed my credit card for damage even when I told him that it needed to go through my insurance. Listed damage as "crushed or torn", it was dented, not "crushed or torn".

The pick-up process was easy, and they even had it ready early. However the customer service was TERRIBLE, especially at drop off. The employee hardly spoke to us and just did what she needed to do without telling us what was going on (like just taking the keys and walking outside without saying 'I am going to go check the condition of the equipment'). It is also inconvenient that the dolly and blanket pads are tethered in the truck. If I say that I am not going to need them, do not put them in there and take up space. It should be an option to have them in there instead of having them there "for convenience" and just break the zip tie if you need them.

I was disappointed by my experience to say the least. The guy at the front desk helping me didn’t walk me through anything. He said he was going to charge my card without telling me how much. Then he handed me the keys without telling me where or how to locate the truck. The truck reaked of cigarette smoke. I was also not told of an after hours key drop and luckily found it myself. Very disappointing.

I had a hard time using the self pick up service from the phone. At the location the clerk kicked me out from the parking saying parking was on for clients of the shop not u-haul pick up (which should be said ahead of time so arrangements could have been made...... not when I self drive to pick up the truck). When I dropped the truck off the clerk was upset that I had even called customer service. I will definitely not use this pick up location again or refer any other people to this location.

Showed up at 7:30 am for an after hours pickup. Key was in lockbox 1, but I was given the wrong code to open it. The app said to call the owner of the location if there was a problem accessing the key - I called 5 times, left a voicemail, sent a text message, and never got a response. I had to pay my movers for 2 extra hours while I waited for the location to open at 9:00 so I could get the key. No apologies, just handed me the key and told me I couldn't leave my car in the parking lot. The bonus was that the windshield wipers didn't work on the truck. Awful experience - won't be doing business with this location again.

Great experience with this location. Truck was warmed up and ready to go on a very cold morning which was a nice surprise. Check in staff were very friendly and got me in and out very quickly. When I returned the truck the gentleman who checked me out ran in from the shop and immediately helped me turn the truck in and be on my way. Very professional and refreshingly old school approach to customer service. Would highly recommend this location to anyone.
