This location I rated was my 2nd pickup location. The 1st scheduled location, Shine Towing on Sandy Pkwy was a disaster. I arrived during their listed, scheduled hours. They were not open. No one there. I waited 30 minutes for them. When they arrived, they did not have a truck for me. No truck. At all. The guy was a jerk. Did not care and did not apologize or anything. The 2nd guy at 32 E 9000 S in Sandy was great. Want to improve your customers experience? Don't use Shine Towing. Ever!

The guy who helped us when we picked up the rental was extremely rude to my mom when she asked to have the paperwork redone as it did not show the correct rate. He got really huffy and acted like she was insane for wanting the paperwork to reflect the correct price. But the truck we picked up was in good condition and the drop off process was easy and that employee very nice.

The entire process of reserving the installation of the hitch, the installation of the wiring, the condition of the trailer and the dropping off of the trailer was a TOTAL NIGHTMARE. I would appreciate a phone call from management because aside from the money i spent for terrible service, my family had to spend alot of time chasing down your staff to get answers. Thx

The equipment was clean but the ramp was damaged and wouldn't go back into the locking position. It cost me about an hour of time that was already tight, and much frustration, trying to fix it and get it into a safe mode. I finally had to strap it down with tie downs in order to be able to use it without it sliding out on the freeway and killing someone.

I received a text after doing the online reservation roughly an hour after I made the reservation. I saw it was from Uhaul and thought nothing of it. At the time I was in a company meeting. Fast forward to the next day 20 minutes from when I was to pick up the truck. I looked at the text to double check the address. Glad I did. Your schedulers switched the location. Selected a spot 30 minutes farther away. I called and was told they spoke to somebody on my end who said it was fine. IMPOSSIBLE my cell was only number on account. Thank goodness I drove by this location on my way. They saved the day. Somebody in your scheduling department needs a lesson on honesty. This was nearly a disaster for me as I had limited time on the final day of a lease to get furniture out of my old office.

As I left the lot, I noticed that the OIL light was on so I returned. The tech had to add about one (1) GALLON of oil and said it was due for a PM (could have left us stranded along I-80 with a blown motor). The interior was filthy with somebody's fingernails in the passenger door compartment. This was a 500+ mile one-way, and I my truck did NOT have cruise control, or a radio with aux input.

We were 3 hours late returning the truck due to where we rented it telling us there was no time limit. The lady was very rude and charged us a full day for it being a little late. She didn't care what had been told to us and had a bad attitutude!

the over all experience with U-haul was a nightmare and it was the people at this location that saved me from U-hual. You took my order, didn't eve get my name right so you couldn't even locate the contract. the # given to me didn't even exist. No one knew what they were doing and because of that it took me all day 16 hours to do a 2 hour project because I was given such the run around and wrongful information in the first place which is what started it all. I wanted a trailer that would fit a king size bed and the lady said no problem and right on the trailer it said Queen size only! from there that morning I finally finished the project at 930pm... YOU ARE A NIGHTMARE! -> Uhaul not the sandy location!.

Gas was empty when I picked it up. Blankets I ordered weren't in the truck. AC didn't work which is bad during the summer and you have you're driving down to unload a truck full of stuff you just loaded. :( This wasn't UHAUL's fault, but I locked my keys in the truck and I called to see if there was a spare, but they said I would just have to call a lock smith. When I did, they came only to tell me they couldn't do it because UHAUL has a policy against 3rd party lock smith's and that I'd have to use UHAUL's own road side assistance. This was something the guy on the phone should have said and it was really frustrating with hours ticking with hours ticking while paying for professional movers.

guy makes you park and walk to a next door business cause he said "i need to have parking for my customers" quit helping me to help another customer of his original business out before you help me 100%, he orders you to have to truck back instead of confirming you understand how long your contract is, after he saw me park, get out of the boxtruck and drop the key off at the drop box he send me an email for no returned equipment.

Tried to use the app to rent. Went through the take a photo of yourself and drivers license twice before I gave up. Fortunately, I was running late and the business had just opened. They needed to finish the rental.

The agent who helped us book our truck gave us incorrect information. He told us the time fore returning the truck was at 12 noon when in fact it was for 9:45 a.m. Our moving crew was not scheduled to arrive until Saturday morning at 8 a.m. This put us in a very bad bind and was not appreciated!!!
