I was quoted over the phone $1 per mile intown, when I tried to express check- in, it said $1.09, I held off on checking in, because you should have honored what I was quoted. The manager, Alex Ballesteros, was adamant she would not. If I was at a point I could do without the truck, I would have left, but I had no choice as this was the last time I had to clear out my storage unit I had at another Uhaul location. So to answer your question, honor the quote your phone customer service provides. It was obviously an error, but to me it matters when I call for a quote, schedule the rental pickup, then get told by the manager I didn't hear correctly. I deal with customers daily, and you don't tell them they misheard the information, you apologize and try to come to a satisfactory solution. Also, I started my transaction with DeJon Smith, but when I said let's just go forth because I needed the truck, she takes over so she could write unknown comments about me. I can tel you what I said if you want, but I believe her goal was to be spiteful. Then, after I got the truck, there was damaged that I wanted noted, she refused to provide me document confirming damage. I then explained, you won't honor what I was told by your phone technician regarding a 9 cent discrepancy, but I'm too take your word that the damage is record because of your word. She then sarcastically said she could mark them for me and I said, please. She in a bothered way marked the vehicle with disgust to my concerns. Very unprofessional. When I returned the truck, I took the sheet I wrote my quote on and showed it to DeJon Smith, as I told them I would when I was bantering back and forth with her, you could clearly tell I was not confused. When I wrote my $1 quote, I matched a dash to show there was no cents to record. He looked at it and made no comment and Again, muy concerns were ignored. Ms. Ballesteros was not around when I returned the vehicle. Please note, when I got my quote, I repeated back the information to make sure I understood what I was going to have to pay, but I was told by Ms. BallesterosI that I was wrong. Also, the other issue I had was that there was no air conditioning in the vehicle. I had to drive with the windows rolled down, allowing for additional drag to operate and added fuel level use. It was also 90 degree weather with strong winds between storage offices, creating cross winds while driving so that I could remain cool. That was very unpleasant.

The lack of parking is a huge problem in my opinion. I had to walk over 3/4 of a mile to park. That is the only negative thing I can say otherwise perfect

The equipment was clean but the truck had no suspension. I think I left my kidney on the short 80 mile ride down the 405 and back. Old truck and you can tell it was old!

Employees were not very friendly. Tone of voice of employee was not sympathetic when expectations were not met. Felt like we were being accused of not doing correct procedure of returning truck. I’m sure there are cameras around to prove that we did it correctly.

Bad experience with manager. When I arrived I was told the 17' truck I had ordered was ready for me. When I had paid and went outside to get the truck I noticed it was not the truck I ordered. When I told the manager he disregarded my concern and said it did not matter because the trucks where the "same price and not a big deal it was only a 2 foot difference between the 15' and 17'". This is not how you do business. I am disappointed in the service. I asked for a 17' truck and paid for a 17' truck not a 15' foot truck. I would not have known unless I checked myself and was mislead which I believe many other customers have been as well. I have had many good experiences when it comes to moving with uhaul. This was not one of them.

The van was pretty clean but there was a smell inside which may have been the rubber floor liner mats. It almost smelled like someone had been smoking the van but there was no evidence of that. Otherwise, it was easy to reserve the van, pick it up and return it. I'll definitely rent again from this location in the future when I need to.

There was no dolly or blankets as promised. We got to our furniture pick up spot and “surprise” no dolly and no blankets!!!!! Very bad news and too late to do anything g about it.? When we got back to KISS and told the clerk , he said there was nothing he could do but report it and charged $130.00

I WAS CHARGED FOR GAS AND WHEN I TOLD THEM TO CORRECT IT I WAS ASKED FOR A RECEIPT WHICH I NEGLECTED TO GET, I HAD A HELPER WHO KNEW I WENT TO THE GAS STATION AND SAW WHERE IT WAS FILLED. WHAT A RIPOFF TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC, NEVER AGAIN
