The trailer required a 2” ball joint. I showed up with a 1 and 7/8th ball joint attached to my hitch, but had a 2” ball with me. Marian Mobile said they could not switch over the hitch for me, did not offer any assistance in how to get this done, and frankly acted as though they didn’t care. Fortunately I found a nearby towing company that was open and willing to switch the ball joint in the hitch for me as a courtesy. Courtesy is a word Marion Mobile could stand to consider a bit.

There was some trash in the cab - a napkin, receipt, a cheese ball. Overall it was clean enough for a 24 hour rental. The cell coverage isn't the best so using the web and uploading the required photos took additional time. Overall - super convenient with the mobile process.

I was not informed that the pads were rented upon picking up the truck. When I returned it, the pads were at my old place and my new place. I had to make a return trip the next day, to bring the pads back and pay. Moving is stressful enough without further complications.

My drop off location on my copy of the contract was listed as Greenwich NY and I was told to call the 1-800 number upon arriving in Greenwich. I called and they told me I had to drop off the truck in Saratoga Springs over 20 miles away. There was a drop off location less than 5 miles away that I could not dropped off the truck but was told I would be charged extra days if I dropped off at this location by UHAUL personnel on the phone. This was over an hour of wasted time and driving for me and my wife on behalf of UHAUL. I was mislead and thought I would be dropping off in Greenwich. If I knew I was dropping off in Saratoga Springs I would not have reserved this truck. Very disappointed with UHAUL! I have one more trip to make, I am not sure UHAUL is the company I will be selecting!

We set up 24/7 pickup and received two phone calls confirming this pickup and stating that a truck was available for us. We were on a tight schedule on moving day and scheduled the pickup for 9AM. When we got there and attempted to pick up the truck using the app, we were told it wasn't available. We called the number specified for a local contact person and it went to voicemail - no one answered. We were therefore forced to sit in the parking lot and wait an hour for the store to open. This set us behind schedule and we had moving help scheduled at our end destination. They ended up charging us for an extra hour since we were an hour behind schedule. I was not happy with this service, particularly after we were assured our rental was confirmed for 24/7 pickup.

Back of truck needed a heavy sweeping of dirt and plant debris. Front cab had coffee cups on ground from previous renter. Overall, good service and friendly/helpful staff. To improve, answer the phone up until closing. I called multiple times to let them know I was running longer than anticipated and no one ever answered. This experience was 100% better than my original reservations at Affordable Storage, in which the store was locked and had no employees at it an hour and half after it was supposed to be opened. Thankfully, the uhaul call center was helpful and re-directed me to a place that runs a respectable business and the day was not totally lost.

I Wasn't expecting it to be so dirty.. Also they have me no instructions whatsoever. I had to ask how to open back. I had trouble setting mirror they didn't help.

Very good selection of different size trucks. This business is open weekends, and being open on Sunday is extremely helpful. They have gas pumps to fill truck up after use, and they have a nice key drop-box feature after hours. I would definitely use this place again.

The staff whether on the phone or at the pick up location were very accommodating and helpful, The truck was easy to drive and handle. It shifted into the higher gears slowly but appreciated how it held a lower gear when going down a hill. Couldn't get the radio to work but didn't want to stop to figure it out. Appreciated the two lower side mirrors that allowed me to see where the truck was travelling in relation to the center and side lines.

Was upset that u-haul didn't have a truck closer to where I live (there is a dealer 3 miles from my house) so I had to drive farther and use unneeded mileage because of that!!! (about 15 - 20 miles)

Very unhappy with the arrangements of this uhaul. On Monday, we scheduled for a 26' truck to be available at 7:15am at a location 10 minutes away from home. I received a confirmation email that "You are scheduled to pickup your equipment at U-Haul Moving & Storage of (city named) on Saturday, March 03, 2018 at 7:15 AM for 14 hours". On Wed night we received a call that this truck was rented before us so our next closest location would be our pick up spot. That location was 15 miles south of where we wanted to pick up from. That added an additional 30 miles to our trip which we were responsible to pay for. If somebody else already booked the truck, it should not have been available on your website and perhaps on Monday I could have picked a different sized truck OR an entirely different service. At that point there was no other truck available for us to use. We called local uhaul and they told us to call the 800 number. I sat on hold for over 20 minutes before being told I was out of luck there was nothing they could do, my "email said that this might happen"...NO my email said it was schedule for my desired location at the time I wanted. I was told I had to speak to Traffic dept the next day. Bridget is RUDE! She pretty much told me I was lucky that I got the cost per mile reduced and offered that we could move a different day. I'm sorry, when you are moving its usually planned...I can't ask people to take another day off from work because Uhaul has deceitful business practices. You knew that truck wasn't available and left us with no choice in going elsewhere. I kept asking what we could do to which she said nothing. I called back again and asked if we could get it at closing time the night before without being charged a 2nd day...(the location we were being sent to didn't open until 8am which meant we wouldn't get moving until well after 9am...we wanted to be clearing out by 8am)...she wasn't very helpful and then I asked her how much it would cost to get the truck friday night and she then said it would be a 24 hour rental and there is no difference in the cost. Why didn't she mention that before??? So Uhaul basically screwed us with extra fuel and mileage costs and your staff is rude. I would not rent from you again or recommed you to anybody if this is how you do business.
