Booking was changed by 2.5 hours with ~12 hours notice and the full booking process had to be done again in store. I chose the truck share option for the convenience and contactless pickup/ drop off. Staff at the location did not wear masks during the in-store portion of the transaction.

These people scammed me ... overcharged me for fuel .. doubled up the rental charges ...i gurantee you , you will never get a bill estimated

I had a confrontation with the man there over the price as it seemed wrong to me. I also questioned their covid protocols. He got very angry. I swore. And he proceeded to lose his mind ranting and swearing and screaming at me (with another customer in his store at the time). Never in my life have I encountered a more rude and hostile business. He carried on for 5 minutes following me into the parking lot still screaming and swearing at me. I think you need to reconsider dealing with this store. This man is a danger to society. I've never seen such anger so quickly. Ridiculous.
We did a drop-off after hours. It could be better signed.
Vehicle was given in a bad condition. The guy made me wait for 50 minutes for no reason. When we asked to give keys his response was he will extend the time for one hour as he made us wait. He has changed the original vehicle to some other vehicle. They don't show respect to customer's time at all.
Update your outlets when a reservation comes through. Ended up at warden location because 2370 danforth location was closed on arrival, despite booking van in advance. Original reservation was for 1130, didn't get loading until after one pm due to lack of communication. Uhaul redirected me to warden location, where all was great.
U-Haul Contract 27561476 I am utterly disappointed by the pickup agents' services. I had schedule of pick up at 11:30 am. The location has been updated three times within an hour. Moreover, the first agent did't even show up and the office was closed. I was told to go to the second location with confirmation of availability of vehicle. The agent was there this time but there was no truck available. Finally I found the truck at around 12:45 pm at the third location. The vehicle was not cleaned and smelled of raw meat. Although I had a refund as a promised money-back for failure to provide vehicle on time, sometimes it is not worth the time being wasted. I would suggest the integrity of communications between U-haul and the agents should be improved.
They did not have a truck and could not of cared less about helping me. Not sure why uhaul authorizes this location. After half an hour on hold I was told to call another number. Then another 15 minutes on. Finally told we're a truck could be found. Arrived there to find it was not available because it was full of ice makers. I ended up unloading the truck so I could take it. I was now 2.5 hours behind schedule. This is ridiculous. Not impressed with how this was handled. This should not have become my problem to solve the original location should have helped me not just shrugged their shoulders and tell me to call the 1-800 number.
Gentleman was rude and accused me of trying to steal the truck. Was told I was getting a 50.00 refund. And I only got 25.00.
It wasn't too bad, self checkout was easy and convenient. Inside of the van could be vacuumed since there was a lot of construction dust.
The guy that rented the van to me was not nice at all. The van was so dirty inside, I found used masks, towels and tissues all over the inside of the van, and there was absolutely no gas in the van. I was scared that I was not even going to make it to the gas station. And to top it off, he tried to rip me off by saying that I traveled over 100 KM when I only went 6 KM, and I have the pictures to prove it. If this the the type of people that U-Haul has to represent them, I will never use U-Haul ever again. Very bad experience.
Bear in mind that we are in a pandemic and any business that has the privilege to operate should do so in a responsible manner to keep their customers healthy and safe. The cargo van I rented was disgusting and I could easily tell it was NOT sanitized due to the fact that there was a used disposable mask and used Lysol wipes under the passenger seat.
The rental service location has trained its staff to lie to customers about mandatory insurance purchase even if the customer indicates that they have insurance through their own provider. Then when the owner is challenged on it to confirm whether it is Uhaul policy, he says you have to call the corporate Uhaul line to get a refund. Terrible experience. I would recommend Uhaul re-evaluate the license provided to this vendor and contact me for a follow on discussion about my terrible experience.
I felt cheated for the charges made. The guy was not honest in his deals. I will not recommend this place to anybody. I had good deals with the U haul Warden and 401.
Van was filthy inside when picked up yet I was charged a $25 cleaning fee.
The manager of this location, Nick, handled my order very well and professionally. Would definitely use this location again.
I did the online check-in with the UHaul share program, and when I arrived to pick-up the app told me I couldn't pick-up my vehicle outside of business hours. The location was unreachable. Wasted 45 minutes on hold with various UHaul customer service number to finally get the keys to my vehicle. Alot of unecessary stress on the day of my move. The system is completely disorganized.
I was originally supposed to drop off at Rust check but the lot was full and I was directed to this location instead. Should ensure there will be space for trucks at the drop off location.
Horrible. I waited over 2 hours for rental outside of store. I was told system was down but there was poor communication over that 2 hour period. The one staff was confused about process and offered no alternative solutions. This was the worst car rental experience I've ever had.

Make sure that the vans are clean and not littered with used tissues on the floor of the cab, and cardboard and grit on the floor In the cargo area. More importantly, do not try to charge a cleaning fee to a client when they report that the vehicle is dirty when they pick it up, and then again when they return it. I am not responsible for a cleaning fee if the truck is returned dirty, if that's the way I received the vehicle.

Why not tell customer that they are going to be charged $1.11 per a mile instead of just telling them it's $0.69 per km. The charges aren't fair.
