Where do I start? This location is a shit show. The reserved 10ft truck was not available and on calling to rebook another truck, none of the 24/7 rental box locks were accessible with the provided codes. We tried every possible combo with the agent on the phone. Due to being unable to access, the NC scheduler moved the rental location up the road to NC 42 Storage. Although this was ok on pickup, the drop off was a nightmare. 45 min on the phone with several agents at different numbers trying to figure out why I couldn’t return the vehicle online. I have sent pictures and Ms Sunday verified my return, but the agreement location still showed Popeyes. I have filed a formal complaint and request for full refund through Customer Service. Based on my file, you see this is one of several rentals and not a new user error. Btw, UHaul has apparently removed the desk clerk books from Popeyes per the staff. Total mess and Ygaul supervisor needs to visit that site asap.

The guy at this location tried to refuse letting me drop off the trailer. After I showed him the app and told him U-haul specifically gave me this location he said fine and told me "put it by the other trailers" and complained that he wanted out of the contract. I told him that is between him and U-haul. After I unhooked the trailer and took the first set of pictures he came out and aggressively demanded that I move it to the other side of the parking lot. I told him I already unhooked it and he threw his arms up and went back inside but then kept coming back out and going back in repeatedly. The situation seemed like it was going to escalate so I had to leave before taking the 'parking space' photo and finishing 5he transaction in the app.

Sorin GDrop off was awful. Someone needs to be there when dropping off rentals for help. The lady in the store was not helpful at all and self drop off is not helpful at all if you have someone older that's trying to retun something or if the person don't have a cell phone. Luckily I had a cell phone and was not older.
KECIA TWhat made this trip especially hard was the only representative for doing in store key pick up could not be there before 2 pm. I was on the phone for over an hour with a representative from U-Haul, and they did an excellent job getting me a new vehicle rental for the same price as the previous. Mo from the phone was incredible. While the location could have been better, the phone service was amazing.
