The UHaul app is the WORST app I can recall ever using. Photos would not upload, it was clunky and we could not complete the check-in or return through this method. Fortunately, the owners were there to assist us with the process and we normally do not need much if any hand holding with things like this. The direct, human part of the process was excellent and the truck was in pristine condition, but I would have ZERO confidence in ever using the app moving forward. Anecdotally, the moving company owner who also helped us told us he finds the app impossible and “the worst” and although he has to occasionally rent a truck through UHaul, he has someone he knows he works with directly to arrange. Thank goodness for the front line human beings. They made all the difference and they were far more efficient than the technology offered by corporate UHaul..
