When we picked the U-Haul up, the woman at the counter had no idea what she was doing. She had to FaceTime her boss to get the process started, but even with his help, I had to do parts of the check-in process myself. For instance, she couldn't figure out how to take photos of the drivers license. (First of all, weird that they were needed since we'd already uploaded photos when we reserved.) Finally, her boss asked me to use her phone and do it for her. Then, she changed the location of our rental return. When I pointed it out, she had to back up a few steps, which caused all sorts of chaos, to fix it. When she handed me the keys, she didn't explain how to do the inspection, submit photos, etc. I've rented U-Hauls before, though it's been a while, so I *knew* I had to do this. She insisted I didn't and that everything was fine. Okay...I knew better, but what could I do? About 15 minutes after we picked up the truck, I got a text with instructions about how to take photos and submit the inspection. Um...too late. We were driving. When we got to the apartment where we needed to load, I tried to do the form then...but it was too late. I was told the link had expired. UGH. Terrible experience. I'm especially miffed because this wasn't the location we had requested to pick up from...our reservation was changed at the last minute.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkMake sure that transaction goods better. I was told that the vehicle I requested was at this particular location. When I called; I was told that I needed to go somewhere else for guaranteed availability. After TOO MUCH messing around and time I was finally able to get my requested vehicle from the location I requested it from. WAY TO MUCH CONFUSION!
