I had an appointment to pick up my U-Haul at 8:30 am. When I arrived, the storefront was closed and there was no employee present. I called the phone number on the sign that said to call if you need “immediate assistance.” I called the number 9 times with no response. I then had to call the customer support number for U-Haul and explain my situation. They were able to reach the area manager but by that time, the employee had arrived—15 minutes late. I went out to my U-Haul and found that the vehicle would not start. I went back in and thankfully got a new truck quickly. This one l, however, was missing a much needed ice scraper and had low tire pressure. I’ve typically had good experience renting a U-Haul but am considering alternatives for next time I move.

Brent HThe individual working at the cold shot location in Sherwood park, is a complete knob. I don't have a credit card, so I paid the $150 deposit on my debt card. Once I returned the truck, I tried using the self return online site, which didn't work properly. Ended up calling in to return it. For some reason it closes at 230pm. I returned the next day to get my deposit back and the guy couldn't figure out how to do it. He then continued to tell me to use a credit card, again, I don't have one. After 45 min of waiting he finally got the refund done the proceeded to slam the receipt on the counter top. Garbage service.
