I was underwhelmed with the service. My biggest complaint is when I received the truck the paperwork said it was basically full. It was not. The truck was almost half full and I didn’t notice till the truck was already hooked up and I was at the gas station filling up. I took a picture and kept a receipt. When I made the drive to El Paso I showed the clerk all the supporting documentation. All their response was that it was my fault and I should have said something to the put going store. To me this demonstrates a lack of honesty and respect for customers.

When I first came in I stood in the waiting area for 15 mins.before anyone came to the front. I think a Jarrett came up, ask a lady a question and never said a word to me. I waited a few more mins and left. Called an hour later and the phone rolled over to someone else who was very nice but has problems with her computer. I went in to the local store to pick up my reservation and that young lady was also having problems with the computer system and took me close to 45 mins to get a trailer. She did not give me the one I looked at. When I got hooked up and backed in the area I wanted to load, The tie down rails were all messed up. On the passenger side they had replaced with a rail I could barely get my strap to. On the other side (driver) had a itty bitty rail and had to force a smaller rope through the even smaller holes far apart from each other. I I would have had the time, I would have brought it back and got the other one, But my helper was king enough to put off what he had planned and I did not want him to wait for me to exchange. When I got back to town to turn it in, I complained to the other lady and it was like so what! I told her I should have brought it back because of the tie downs, She pointed to the rings on the floor! WHAT tie downs on the floor is not going to secure my load. Then she says they only repurpose them some where else. Lesson learned, look again before you drive off!

I returned a truck with attached trailer. They did not bother to check in the trailer, I got a phone call about that today from the central call center. They also charged me around $564 dollars after the central call center told me I'd only have to pay $40, and then when I turned it in they said everything was up to date and no final charges. I'm still currently fighting this unsubstantiated fee, but they've left me little to no information on how to properly follow up on it so I bet I'll have to totally re-explain and have lengthy phone calls to fix this error. :(

My only complaint is that when I turned in all my equipment, after the contract had been extended "at no additional charge", I received a charge on my credit in excess of $500 for the additional days that were supposed to be "no additional charge".

The point of sale systems were not working, so we had to conduct our transaction via the U-Haul app on a tablet. The location also did not have the hand truck we had requested. To improve customer experience, have working point of sale systems and have all the equipment requested on hand.

When we turned in the U-Haul truck and had a 3/4 tank gas on our receipt the gentleman put down we turned less than a half a tank of gas and made a comment he was going to siphon the gas out of the truck and use it in his vehicle guess he did that....

Employees were absolutely terrific. Corporate Management needs to install a better IT system. Took almost 20 minutes to input data into the system. System hardware mis-matched. Software calls for touch screen capability. Hardware does not support touch screen capability. Employees did their absolute best with terrible tools to do their job. Everyone in Corporate Management should be fired!

It was the total cost..You might as well rent a truck from enterprise...U haul cost me a total of 147.00 plus 30 in gas. So 177.00 just to deliver a small load to Mc Neal..NEVER again..I rented a moving van in Palominas and it didn't cost me near as much same mileage or pretty close..The ladies were nice though..

Customer service is extremely poor. The workers weren't very friendly at all. When I went to return the vehicle the employee wouldn't even come outside to assist me when I clearly needed help. I walked in to reserve a truck. I told the man I needed to go get someone to drive my vehicle and I would be back in 30 minutes. I asked him if I needed a reservation number or anything and he told me no. When I went back to pick the truck up the employee gave my vehicle away which was a larger truck (resulting in 2 trips). Thank God someone had just walked in to return one or else I would've been out of luck. Just an overall bad experience.

Friendly and accommodating staff. We picked up a trailer on Saturday and was told to return it at 7am on Sunday. Arrived at 7am on Sunday to find out they open at 9 am --- that would have been good to know. We had to drive an extra trip to return it once they opened. Other than that, I am satisfied.

Verified in person day before that my reservation had all information needed, including my brother, the drivers, license number (had added copied to reservation). Woman at center verified it all, said all he needed to do was bring his license for verification. At 7am, pick up time, he was told he needed to build a profile on uhaul app in order to pick up the truck. NO EXCEPTIONS! After 40 min of trying to get app to work, they finally approved everything manually. Upon returning the truck I spoke to same person as I did day before asking her why she told me all he had to was show ID! She said after talking to me, her boss said they had to start forcing people to use the app to build a profile before renting. When I told her I had already done everything on the computer prior and confirmed it all with her, she said she was just telling me what she was told. Uhaule 40 min delay cost us 40 min of our movers cost due to no uhaul present AN HOUR AFTER reservation time.
