I went in to tell the agent that I was retuning the truck a day early. She made me take the boxes out the truck when there was a clearly marked sign that says to do so if you are finished with them so another customer can. While I was outside doing that, she finished authorized my card that I didn't want to pay with for the extra day anyway. She blamed it on the system and gave me a receipt that was supposed to show a reversal. Now I have close to a $250 charge that shouldn't be there because she was too busy rushing to get back to her cellphone.

staff had trouble with the computer so pick up took a long time. did not get opportunity to review truck in advance. found it to be surprisingly old and creaky with off and on red warning lights on the dash for coolant and ABS. Should be retired.

Online check-in process was slow vs a person doing the checkin. Parking was limit at the location for the uhaul.



Maintenance of vehicles is extremely important especially when someone is carrying all of their household worldly possessions. This truck almost turned over on more than one occasion. It do not have handle simple terms.

WE were charged a fuel charge even though we filled the tank as instructed. The attendant called us the day before we were supposed to turn it in and told us to return the truck and park it next to a curb where the truck is at a slant. We dropped it off at night and the next morning we were charge $36.00 for the needle not being exactly on the line, 1/4 tank. She read the needle at a slant!! Who knows how many other people she has ripped off!!!! We have used Uhaul for many years. We won’t be using you guys again. We called and explained it to her and she was unwilling to even hear our explanation. Not acceptable!!

I was charged for gas when I know the truck was on 1/2 a tank. The truck was large and we had to park on a hill. That made the difference in gas.

The appliance dolly I requested was not available and I was not informed of this in advance. We ended up moving a front loader w/d set and multiole furniture items out of a two story house and down asteep driveway by hand (with straps). This added time to my move and cost me extra money for the movers I hired. Next time let the customer know in advance si they can maybe transfer the reservation to anothet location. I'd like a refund for my inconvenience.

I was very disappointed that the equipment I rented (Utility Dolly) wasn’t in stock. And when they replaced it with an Appliance Dolly, I was forced to pay an up charge of $12.00 because that piece of equipment was going to taken out of their stock. I sort of feel if a company fails to have the equipment originally contracted to provide...then it’s pretty poor form to up charge for a replacement piece.

Be up front with the fees and service the vehicle before letting someone rent it. Local travel is one thing but when your going a long distance riding a truck that is constantly pulling to one side makes for 10 hours of driving a horrible experience.

I am not happy with the weird rule of 7/8 th of a tank. When they gave me the truck they told it is 7/8 th full and I have to return with same amount of gas. However, that is little less than 7/8 th. They gave me a sheet that tells how much I need to refill based on current gas level to bring it to 7/8th but that is not correct. I used that guideline and thought I consumed more than 8 gallons where as I actually used only 5. I lost money for 3 gallons at least. Why can't they simply give full tank and ask people to refill it??

I honestly did not get her name but the manager of this facility was awesome! She was fast and efficient. I liked that she was very understanding. It was pouring rain and she was very sympathetic..
