Site manager was refusing to rent me the truck after I mention I had made a reservation to drop it off at a different location. After I said I would drop it off back to the same location she’d said she didn’t trust me and wouldn’t rent the truck to me. She also said that our total miles of 60miles round trip was too far and the trucks are only made for local use (not sure why it’s for rent if this is the case), check engine light was on though. She didn’t think the trucks wouldn’t make it there and back. We then talked to the local manager on the phone and then they rented us the truck. We wasted over an hour of our limited time. Also, we were suppose to pick the truck up on the Adams location and were informed less than 12 hrs before that the location changed, the guy on the phone was an absolute d!ckhead with zero empathy. I would ask for some sort of discount but I know it would be a complete waste of my time with this company. Over all 0/100 experience. Would not use U-Haul again.
